If you’re looking for somewhere for you or your little ones to go this is the place! This establishment is highly awarded, with a welcoming environment to all experience and age levels, as well as being very cleanly. The instructors are very thorough, making sure everyone receives instruction on proper form and technique, and they work amazingly with the little ones! I even learned a great bit myself from these guys just by watching my child from the sitting area.
Though it was disheartening to see my child shift interest towards other sports, there was no hassle when unenrolling her, as they were very understanding. I can’t thank these guys enough for the warm and welcoming environment they provided, as well as the top notch instruction! Will definitely be returning here after finishing nursing school to become a member myself! Thank you Legends!!!

A fantastic facility and instruction by top level competitors. Professor Travis is an accomplished black belt and makes class engaging regardless of if you're dropping in, on a trial class, or are a long term practitioner.

In Temple for work for a week. I reached out to Professor Travis about dropping in to his academy for a class. He very graciously invited me to come in. The academy is very nice and very clean. Instruction was terrific and I enjoyed being about roll with a few people after instruction. Quality instruction, nice people and a great space - I don't think you can go wrong in any regard with the academy; whether it's visiting or looking for quality instruction. Thanks again for the invite and I'll be sure to stop through again when in town.

I am a visitor just visiting a friend in the area. Wanted to try out a BJJ gym in the area. After going to three of them and feeling un invited right off the bat. I stumbled upon Legends Jiu-Jitsu,..Professor Travis was inviting and welcoming right away. His class was great and the people there were great to roll with. I highly recommend LBJJ. I’ve been a member at Legends for several months and have had a very positive experience. The coaching is phenomenal, facility is top tier, and community amazing. I assure you, there is not a better Jiu Jitsu gym in Bell County.

If you are looking for a place to cross train while you are in town or just join the gym, this is the place for sure. The gym is fully equipped with showers, lockers and a spacious place for visitors who just want to watch. The environment is welcoming and great. The people in the gym are awesome and all in all its a great place to learn self defense or do it as a sport. Definitely recommend.

Professor Travis Moore is an amazing high level instructor! Today we continued his half guard series. I couldn't have come at a better time being a (white belt 😅) half guard player. After class got to roll with a lot of great guys who let me work but pushed me to be better (a.k.a. tapped me a lot 😆). Can't wait to get back on the mats. Oss!

My son is 8 and started at Legends in January 2023. He enjoys it but I've seen a marketable improvement in his confidence as well as discipline that he didn't have before. Everyone from Travis, his wife and staff are extremely welcoming and supportive of making all the children feel welcome and improve in not only Jiu-Jitsu but in their everyday lives. I cannot put into words how much I enjoy watching my son grow in many aspects of life that Legends has inspired. There's not a better place to help your little one achieve their best potential.

This gym is the best! I have seen leaps and bounds of improvement in just the few months that my son has been in classes. His confidence has really increased. Professor Travis and Coach Tony are so great about breaking down everything, so that the kids can understand. And giving great instruction, that really helps the kiddos be successful. Martha and Mindy are so sweet and helpful, always answering all your questions and just being friendly faces to greet you when you come in. The new facility is incredible and definitely the most impressive gym I’ve ever seen. If you’re considering trying it out, do it, you won’t regret it!

Legends is the best gym for families around! I have tried many different gyms in the Killeen /Temple/Harker Heights area and even though Legends was the furthest drive for me and my family, I have no regrets. From day one I felt included and appreciated. The culture of the gym is so family oriented, the women’s program is super supportive, the kid’s programs are phenomenal, and just overall the people who train here are friendly, kind and supportive of each other. Travis and Martha are the sweetest and best kind of people around. I recommend Legends 100%.

Was in town to spend Christmas with family and had a great time. Travis ensured the technique of the day was catered to all levels of Jiu Jitsu practitioners. Staffing along with teammates are friendly and helpful. New location is well kept, clean, and organized. This gym is what you call home away from home.

Whether you want to compete or not, they are all very dedicated to helping you in your BJJ journey. There are multiple class times throughout the day/week that make it easy for you and your family to find a time that fits your schedule.

Family friendly gym with dedicated and professional (black belt) coaches. It doesn't matter what you know, they meet you at your skill level and train you to be better. Several different types of classes for beginners/advanced including separate kids, teens and WOMEN ONLY Gi and No gi classes. Travis, Martha, Jimmy, Tony, Tess and Lily are patient and amazing at how they teach and train. The people and families who attend will be your second family too. My son loves it!! This is a community of practitioners who radiate pride in their craft, and an eagerness to share and develop the art in which they teach. Expect to make new friends. Expect to see measured and constant growth either in skill or as a person. Expect to be humbled and tested with every class, both by the instructors and your peers. Best Jiu Jitsu gym in Texas! I drive an hour out of my way just to train here. The training is top notch and everyone is super friendly. Very safe environment to learn Jiu Jitsu!

Professor Travis and the Coaches not only provide top level training to fit you and your goals... They are true ambassadors of BJJ. Most importantly, I've been able to truly reconnect with my teenage daughter. That only was only possible through BJJ, this school, the community, and culture at Legends Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

100% the best jiu jitsu gym I’ve ever been to. Professor Travis is absolutely awesome with each class, working with beginners and having expertise knowledge for higher rank belts. Love the mobility with Nico on saturdays as it relieved a lot of back/joint pain that would otherwise need expensive medical care. But the best thing about this gym is the people, Welcoming to all new members at any level and such great team work. Couldn’t recommend enough.

I had a bad experience back in April, but the owner of the dojo reached out to me. I returned for the class and was delightfully surprised by it. Others in the class was very nice. The instructor was very informational and helpful. Being my first class, my partner took the time to help me work through the techniques.
