Absolutely great care and service. My daughter had a cleft lip repair, going into the process was very difficult for me and I was very on edge about the process. However Dr. Czerwinski was very helpful In explaining the process and procedure and in my opinion the best plastic surgeon at the hospital. You can barley tell my daughter went through surgery very clean line and hardly noticeable. 10/10 would recommend.

The staff at this hospital are wonderful especially the PICU staff. A special thanks to Allie and Linda. Too many to name, but every single nurse, doctor, and staff member have been absolutely amazing to my son and our family.

I don't know why they have only three stars and I truly hope my review boosts their star rating. McClanes Children Hospital is absolutely amazing. Their staff is very sweet and caring. Thank you for a pleasurable experience. ❤

I will not take my babies anywhere but mcclanes. They have been amazing. My wait time is hardly any at all. The Doctors are so caring as well.

We had the best experience you can have for needing to visit a hospital. The doctors and nurses were friendly, professional, and competent. Dr. Moore was extremely helpful and even called us afterwards to check up on our child. I highly recommend all active duty with children use this versus the on post option as this is covered by tricare and alot better

My daughter was sick yesterday and had to be admitted overnight. I was a wreck. They took such good care of my daughter. They even came to make sure I (mom)had eaten. My daughter is older but she really wanted a teddy bear, and as she left they made sure she had one. They schedule her follow up appointments and the cardiologist did great job assessing her. Her care team was top notch. They are working during the holidays but it didn’t matter they still gave 110%! Thank you 4th floor!

Brought my son for his well checkup everything went well and very fast. Charlene is the one who assisted me and she is the most welcoming and sweetest person.

This children’s hospital is one of the best I have been for my daughter. The staff and facility are great when it comes to taking care of your child’s medical needs.

My 1 month old daughter was having horrible colic episodes at home that one night she passed out and I had to call the ambulance. The paramedics did what they could and suggested this facility. We drove from Killeen and the ER tended to my daughter immediately. I was not a fan of the ER nurses due to them collapsing the veins on my daughter’s arms and causing her extreme pain. Nevertheless, the medical care was much better upstairs in the overnight stay rooms.

The doctors come very morning to speak to us, parents & overlook your child’s health. The charge nurse is very attentive every morning to see if your needs as well as your child’s needs are being met. The facility is very clean and well maintained. I appreciated everything that was done for my child and will come back if needed be.

My daughter was better taken care of here than Darnell medical facility at fort hood. Thank you so much Baylor Scott White McLane Childrens hospital. You guys are amazing and keep up with your kindness and hard work.

We were here for 4 days, came to the ER with my baby. My pediatrician called ahead and it was quick getting us in and my baby taken care of to see what was happening. Everyone was reassuring and helped my husband and I along the way. Everyone was very nice and understanding and answered every question.
Bryce/Brice(not sure which way) nurse in the ER that took care of us was amazing! Took great care of us and kept us informed the whole time. We got to our room on the 4th floor and we had Kayla as our nurse. She was also amazing and very helpful.
Also loved that they asked me if I needed a breast pump and I didn't have to ask because I didn't even know they carried them!! My breasts were in so much pain so again I was so thankful!!

It was such a scary thing for us but everyone made it much better and all the Dr's were always popping in to ask if we had questions and made sure we knew what was going on and even through the surgery we were kept updated and everyone was just so kind! Thank you!

this is the best place that i’ve been treated at. they make serious medical conditions easy to live with and are so so kind. i visited the hematology & gynecology specialists and they are so kind, understanding, and professional. the staff made my experience perfect. the front desk lady Jacquese & nurse Joen. my heart is full of these ladies!

We got transferred from College Station Hospital Emergency room to Temple Children Specialty Hospital for my son who is 2 years old and diagnosed with heavy respiratory infection, they provided a pediatric ambulance , 2 nurses ( including Josh) to assist my son during the journey. He was so comfortable during the transfer and the time we reached the room was ready. The nurse Colby was kind enough to make all arrangements and informed the team of doctors to visit with in 20 minutes of wait time and they started his medication ( Dr Sarah Thomas was his doctor). Everyone was really helpful including the respiratory team members / technicians there. 3 am again he had an oxygen drop ,with in 2 minutes the first doctor reached and within a minutes whole team was there . They given all info about the plan of treatment and the nurse Kylel / Jenna helped us with all discharge formalities and helping with medicine from hospital pharmacy as CVS pharmacy in our place takes 3 days to provide the medicine to given for next 48 hours . My son was lucky to celebrate his second birthday there with you all :) , Really appreciate all your kind support and help on each and every minute.

My 6 month old son came in the middle of the night with a high fever and horrible diarrhea. We were seen promptly and Dr. Reed took the situation very serious. Because of his exceptional care, we found out that my poor son had Salmonella. Thank goodness Dr. Reed tested him for everything and took his illness seriously. When we were admitted, Dr. Corpus, Dr. Alexander, Dr. Davis and the other resident (I forgot his name) were EXCELLENT! Our nurses Tenae, Nicole, Sidney, and Allie were also absolutely fabulous. They treated our son like he was their own. They made sure we had everything we needed and focused on getting him better quickly and safely. I can’t say enough good things about this hospital. Thank you all so much for taking amazing care of our precious boy while he was sick. The care we received truly touched our hearts and my son is on the way to being back to himself!

My 1 month old was admitted over the weekend and I was amazed that how compassionate, thorough and respectful the entire staff was. Our stay there was not only easy and relaxing but everything that happened was explained in detail and any questions we had were answered right away. Our room was cleaned and sanitized every day and being able to order huge trays of food for parents for only $5 was super convenient especially when you don’t want to leave your sick child! My daughter was handled with the gentleness and care as if she was their own and I’ll never be taking my children anywhere else. 10/10

I took my daughter to the ER this morning, as she has been super sick for several days and not getting better. I didn’t have anyone to watch my son so he tagged along. Everyone we encountered was friendly and great. They were very accommodating to not only my daughter but my son as well. My daughter had to get an IV and blood work and this was the first time she’s ever had to do that. They comforted her (and me) and made the process much easier to handle.

My youngest child is in and out of many medical facilities on a regular basis. We love the doctors and staff at this facility. But today we noticed the housekeeping crew. There was a very nice lady we met this afternoon that was a part of the housekeeping crew. She was working very hard and was very friendly to us in the elevator. She greeted us in the elevator with the biggest smile and seemed happy to be there doing her job. She made our day today. I just wished I got her name.

Katie sin with patient registration was absolutely AMAZING ! She printed off , and went the extra mile with helping me with my children’s Medicaid info and most definitely gave us an amazing experience. Amazing attitude might I add ! She made us feel welcomed.

I had to take my daughter to the ER yesterday.So we had a pretty lengthy wait on Orthopedics because they were super busy. I promise you the wait was worth it. All of the ER staff was very compassionate and caring for my daughter. Even with a big wait they definitely deserve 5 stars! The ortho people were awesome to. I did get frustrated a few times but only because I’m like 5 months pregnant! Lol this is an amazing children’s hospital! Very well trained staff! Thank you for everything!

My son was transferred here on Tuesday afternoon to be treated for acute lymphatic leukemia. The staff on 5th floor and all the doctors that are treating him are great! I have no complaints about this hospital. The staff had a huge list of orders to be done when we got here. We got him in bed the nurses started hanging meds on him not 5 minutes later we had 2 doctors standing in our room. My son has made a complete turn around in the short time we have been here. He is back to feeling well and being his self. We have a long road ahead of us but I'm glad these people will be with us every step of the way.

We recently went to the ER for a crisis situation with my son. They took amazing care of him. All of the staff were wonderful.

Working at McClane Children's S&W was a great experience. I worked as an Interim night manager in the OR and was extremely impressed with the care that was given consistently throughout the hospital. Each child was treated as if it was the caregivers own child.
I was particularly impressed because the hospital had only been open for about six months. The staff was amazing and professionally very talented.
I would have trusted the care of my child to the staff hands down.
I feel very privileged to have been asked to work there.
