The best sandwiches and soup in town!!! Their chicken pot pies are very reasonably priced and feed my family of 4 for under $20!!!!

Family owned and local. They have my repeating business! The food is amazing, and the staff is all extremely nice. Their chicken salad melt is my favorite, right along side their chicken enchilada soup. Great food, fresh, homemade, and great prices!

Above and beyond with customer service! I wanted to order a meal for a friend in Texas while they went through some difficult times. I really wanted to order from this cafe, but knew they didn't deliver. I thought I would at least ask if they could help me, since I live too far away to pickup the food and deliver it myself. They said they would love to help and delivered my friend a huge meal for the time I asked for, despite them being busy with a catering job that day. My friend loved the chicken pot pie and fudge pie. I cannot thank them enough and the owner, Sam, for helping provide my friend a delicious meal!

Excellent menu choices especially for people with food sensitivities. Pot pie was perfectly delicious. They have white tea. Vegetarian sandwich was wholesome. Smoothy was too icy for me but my husband loved it the way it was. Good choice for lunch.

The menu is creative and unique for a sandwich place - especially in Temple. The walnut chicken salad with raspberry vinaigrette is one of my all time favorite chicken salads because of the complexity of favors from their croutons, creamy chicken salad, tart vinaigrette, and quality mixed greens salad base. The chicken pot pie is the best I've ever had. The service is nice, and the atmosphere is easy with kids. It's a small, contained little lunch place. Go for dinner for some peace and quiet. Pick up a frozen pot pie for later. Make this one of your regulars!

Sandwiches are really good but the gem is their chicken pot pie! On busy days when I don't have time to cook, I order a hot and ready one for pickup after work. It's the best chicken pot pie I've even eaten and they are consistently good!

Service is on point. There are healthy options and they have protein shakes as well as others. The shakes are delicious and you can pick the ingredients. My favorite sandwich is the turkey Asiago. They have the best chicken pot pie. The dough is flaky and the inside is full of delicious veggies and chicken. Order ahead and you can buy a whole ready to eat or take it home and cook it. Yum!

My mother and I go to good life atleast once a week for probably 8 months or so. We have never had bad food or bad service. Everything is fresh and homemade. It feels like your neighborhood bakery with actual good food and not just cookies and junk.

What can I say, the muffuleta is fantastic. Hard to pick so many to choose from. If I am in the area close to dinner time, I will stop and get a few pop pies for a quick evening dinner. This place is addictive because of their delicious food. 👍's for the staff and always a clean area. Keep it up everyone. Will continue going and also passing the word about this place.

I ordered a muffaletta on Italian bread and my girlfriend had chicken salad on Italian as well. Both were SO good. To any long time locals; the bread would almost remind you of the bread from Alvin Ords; in a good way.
I've only been the one time so I still have a lot to try on their menu but I look forward to it.

Went here last week for a lunch meeting and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the chicken poblano soup and half a muffaletta sandwich. Both were top notch. A good portion. I felt neither cheated nor overindulged. Hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious! This is a new favorite lunch spot, and I'm sad I missed out so long before I knew about it! I can't wait to try some of the quinoa dishes, and I've heard the chicken salad is wonderful. Very friendly counter service/bussers as well.

I really like this place for a nice change of pace. I don't know if it is actually healthier, but I can say I feel like I'm making a better decision when I eat here. Good selection of classics, just with a nice little twist that makes them stand out a little bit. The breads are excellent and you can taste the good quality in the ingredients.

This cafe is incredible! Everything, and I mean everything that they serve is made in house with local fresh ingredients. Not to mention the flavors are amazing. Whether you choose soup, salad, sandwiches or pasta, you can't go wrong here. Plus they have great combos to help you try everything!

The perfect place for lunch or a casual dinner! My personal favorite meal is the turkey and provolone sandwich with a Caesar salad, but I've never had anything I didn't like! They have healthy options for lunch here quinoa tabouli salad, veggie sprout sandwich, etc.) The pot pies to go are delicious and life-saving for a quick dinner. Call an hour ahead, and your pot pie will be warm and waiting for you! This is my favorite place to eat in Temple!

I was able to place my order immediately and got the Tabouli salad without cheese to make it vegan. I also had my first bottle of Buddha's Brew (Austin, TX) Kombucha tea from here. I was pleased with everything! Not only was my salad extremely fresh, they provided excellent service with a smile. My mom's pesto pasta also looked really yummy.

The gluten-free cookies from here are a definite highlight. The only thing I would suggest to make it better is to add outdoor seating on the wide sidewalks especially on these beautiful, sunny, early spring days. Regardless, I love supporting local Temple family business and will go back as often as I can.

AMAZING "grandmas slice" omg reminds me of my Nannas recipe. Stopped past here with my family and the food and staff were 10/10 I enjoyed the chunky beef and mushroom pie. You could tell it was all home made. Then we had the slice with a nice hot pot of tea like I said the Jam slice was to die for. I would come back here again and highly recommend

This place is so awesome. I come here all the time and try to try something new every time but my fav currently is the chicken Caesar salad... Service is great and staff is really friendly! Great place for a quick lunch stop!

One of my favorite restaurants in town! The bread here is fantastic. My go-tos are the muffuletta sandwich, tomato soup & chicken salad. I've never ordered anything here that wasn't outstanding.
