Pediatric Therapy Works

I just wanted to say that we experienced such growth with our child who at the time had fairly moderate apraxia. I can’t tell you what a difference Laura has made for our boy. It’s miraculous!

When in the past I couldn’t get my child to connect with any therapist and felt therapy would be questionable, Laura was able make a connection with our son so easily. He would smile and laugh while not even realizing he’s learning. He genuinely adored her very much.

My child’s apraxia was confusing for us originally because we didn’t have a clear diagnosis for why he couldn’t speak clearly. We went to several speech therapists with no success or clear diagnosis. We didn’t know what to do. But Laura quickly clarified what was going on and gave me peace of mind knowing that lots could be done to help.

Not only that, Laura was able to push my child to go leaps and bounds beyond his expected goals. He went from barely saying one word into saying seven word sentences in just a few months. Now he talk non stop adding new words and new phrases all the time. He feels so confident to try new words as well something he never used to do! Just wow!

Laura’s professionalism and understanding made this journey for him feel so seamless. It’s very evident that this faculty knows their therapist very well and it shows! I’m so impressed with Laura and she’s given our child the tools to succeed in life I’m forever grateful to her. The therapist and management here care about the child’s ability to exceed your expectations.

I'm so happy we found PTW after moving to the area. Within just a few months, my son's Physical Therapist (Ashley) and Occupation Therapist (Carrie) were able to work with him and quickly get him over that developmental bump he was hitting.

His Speech Therapist, Lynette, has been simply amazing. Every child is unique so Lynette hasn't simply worked down a checklist of language skills. While working with him during his sessions, she is constantly observing and assessing him to find new and effective ways to target his language processing difficulties in the very best way for him. I've seen huge progress for him since working with Lynette. We know he'll be in speech therapy for a while and I am so thankful we have her to walk him through it.

My son has been going here for the last year and a half (or so), and we love it! The personnel are amazing and always have a friendly smile. The care our son gets here is amazing! He sees OT and ST, used to see PT as well. If you are in search of a pediatric therapist, it’s my recommendation that you stop looking and let the wonderful staff at Pediatric Therapy Works be there for you.

We absolutely love this clinic! They have the best therapists. We go for speech therapy, physical therapy and occupational therapy. My son had brain surgery and has regressed in some areas but the therapists work so hard with him and are so patient even on his off days when he doesn’t want to work they encourage him and help him get stronger. They are absolutely the sweetest girls and we are so blessed to have a local place to do therapy!

We have been apart of the PTW family for a little over three years now.. Yes, you read that correctly YEARS. They have helped my son overcome so many obstacles, achieve and surpass so many goals, and always look to set new goals. That’s what I love so much about them. They don’t look to “cure and release” they simply say “what can we work on next”. Children are always growing, and always needing something new to work towards and they truly get that. We’ve been involved in all therapies (speech, feeding, occupational and physical) and there has not been one therapist who hasn’t given their all to my son.. from sending texts after sessions to give an extra update to having new ideas or new items they have found that they think will PERSONALLY benefit my son—that’s how they go above and beyond. Lorie has picked an elite group of ladies and we couldn’t be more thankful for each one of them!

I cannot say enough about my son’s speech therapist, Sam, other than she works miracles. My son came in less than a year ago and had a severe stammer and stutter. He no longer struggles with speaking thanks to Sam. The skills and strategies she has provided and worked with him on will help him for his lifetime.

Pediatric Therapy Works has been an answer to prayer for our son!

He currently participates in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and feeding therapy, here. His therapists have gone above and beyond in assisting him in mastering new skills and progressing in his develop. We have seen such growth since he began therapy services, here, and are watching developmental gaps close more everyday.

The owner of PTW, as well as each of his therapists, have advocated for him and on his behalf since he began receiving services here. From working to best accomodate our schedule, to tirelessly fighting insurance companies for needed continued coverage, they have done it all.

If you are looking for a therapy company where your child's interests and needs are placed ahead of everything else, you should definitely consider PTW!

I’ve been bringing my son here since they opened and we love it. I can’t say enough great things about the staff. My sons speech has improved so much since he has been in therapy.

At first, we were happy here- Even while being called back several minutes late and released several minutes early at each appointment. The therapist, Stacy, was great. It wasn’t until our last visit when we sat there until 20 minutes past our appointment time that we decided to go someplace else. They didn’t notice us sitting there for 30 minutes after we checked in 10 minutes early- but as soon as we left, they sure noticed then! Makes me think they must have known we were there! I was planning on quietly going away to a different location, but then I made a request for recommendations on my private neighborhood Facebook page. Ashley, who works there and also happens to live in my neighborhood, took this information and decided to tell the office manager that I was “speaking negatively” about PTW (I was not) - at that point, I received 3 calls before 8:30am and when I didn’t answer, I received text messages asking me to remove my “negative comments” on Facebook! First, there were no negative comments. Second, HOW DARE anyone ask me to remove ANYTHING that I post on a private Facebook page. I lost all respect after these interactions. The speech therapist we saw was great, but beware they have an Ashley there who has had a hard time letting high school drama go. Apparently, she feels the need to create drama where there is none. So disappointed in how this was handled and how my privacy was not respected. I will never recommend this place to anyone for these reasons. If you are looking to go somewhere where you are acknowledged, your privacy respected, and given more than 20 minutes of instruction time a week, this place is probably not what you’re looking for.
