Bell County Music Studio

My kids have both really enjoyed going to this music studio. Both kids were doing piano and recently my daughter has also started the ukulele. The instructors are great! The owners are really kind, down to earth people who are friendly and very accommodating. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to learn music to join this studio. They have many other options besides piano and the new location is really nice.

This place is amazing! (Ps, I was the kid in the back in black clip) The owner and employees are extremely friendly, in fact when making this review, one of the drum teachers was giving suggestions for drum sets! How cool is that!

I cannot begin to describe how happy we have been with this music studio! My daughter has been taking piano lessons for over a year now and she looks forward to going every week! She has made considerable progress since starting in both music theory and actually playing. She also has. worker with the voice teachers and began ukulele, both of which have been wonderful additions to her love of music. The teachers are so supportive of the students, passionate about their instrument/voice, and overall a joy to work with. The owners are always present and extremely friendly! I couldn’t imagine sending our daughter to any other music studio!

Edgar is an amazing teacher! He is patient, kind and takes the time to learn what style of music your child is interested in learning. Not only does he keep the lessons fun, he has a great ability of making the technical parts of learning the guitar not so boring and frustrating, especially for young kids. We have had an awesome experience here and my son looks forward to his weekly lessons.

My 13 year old son has been taking Edgar’s lessons for almost 2 months now and we are both very happy. Edgar’s teaching style is very positive with appropriate progression. The song lessons are based on what music my son likes and this keeps him motivated and engaged when he is practicing between lessons at home. I enjoy sitting in on the lessons and watching them go through the song lessons together and jamming. Very professional atmosphere.

I take electric guitar, my wife does acoustic guitar, my daughter is learning what she likes for instruments (mostly piano), and my son does piano. We all learn to play here, different instruments, and love our learning experience. I highly recommend going here as an adult or with kids.

This place is the best any of us have gone for any type of lessons.

I’ve been taking lessons here for a little while now and I can say by far coming to lessons where are the highlight of each week. As a veteran with PTSD I can say that lessons here and playing guitar have changed my life for the better. It helps with stress, anxiety and depression for me and I love it!

The lessons are so detailed and I always leave lessons excited to go home and practice what I’ve learned each week. I know lessons here and great for kids, but also as a 41 year old I can say it’s never to late to start learning an instrument if that’s what you have your best set on. Edgar my guitar teacher makes learning fun and easy to understand. Coming here is one of the best decisions I could have ever made.

Edgar has this self taught guitarist of over 20 years to learn and do things I thought I would never personally achieve. Scales, chords, the number system, all these advanced techniques I could never understand on my own. He's even starting to teach my 4 year old son, so he works on every level. Would definitely highly recommend.

Edgar is an amazing dude with serious skill. He's great at breaking down complex ideas into easily understandable bites, and making them fun to learn about. His lessons and homework never feel like actual work, they're simply a blast. Edgar doesn't have a set curriculum plan either, instead he teaches to your individual taste and gives you songs from your genre of choice to practice.

More than all of that, Edgar is a great guy and I consider him a friend as well as my mentor. If you're looking for a top-tier teacher, you've found him. His prices are fair, he's second to none, and he's fun to be around and hang out with.

We love Edgar's energy and patience in his teaching.. He wants to make the lesson enjoyable and not some monotonous, classical style of learning. His teaching style has been such a breath of fresh air for us because we have had other instructors in the area and Edgar is hands down THE BEST.

Edgar is definitely someone I would invest in getting lessons with. He helps you learn the material yet, also strives to help and teach you no matter how long it takes. He is definitely someone who knows what he’s doing and it’s great because you learn the songs and styles you want to learn while also learning cords, how to tune and put strings on your guitar, and how to learn and develop a sense of holding a guitar and the right way to do so. So glad I found a great teacher as good as him at a very great price as well and you won’t regret the same!
