Had a good experience here. Staff was friendly and fixed my youngest hair again for me when it wasn't exactly what I wanted and did a great job fixing us up with a style that fit are needs and easy for us to replicate at home. Thank you for getting us school ready .

Absolutely amazing ! Went for a walk in and they were busy gave me a same day time to come back . Aly did my 7 year olds hair and literally could not have asked for a better person to do it . She’s so down to earth and full of jokes and made my son super comfortable and he HATES haircuts but I guess I found his permanent barber because he said he LOVES the way she did his hair and said she was sooooo nice . Thank you all so much !

So worth the drive! I live in Austin but drove out to Temple last Saturday for a trim. It's hard finding a super talented hairstylist with a good hand but Mayra is definitely one of those starr stylists :D Loved my layered haircut and loved the decor! Thank you Starr Haircutters! From my hair and I ;D My new go to place! ** picture doesn't give the haircut much justice, but trust me, it looks really good**

This was my first time going to Starr Haircutters and it was a great experience! Shelby was my stylist and she did my hair color, deep conditioning treatment with a cut and style. Fantastic results! Love the way it came out! During the visit, Myra was attending customers but she never forgot I was there! She complimented not just Shelby’s work but how great my hair looked. Friendly staff and overall wonderful experience. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to salon like this.

I was looking for a place to cut my 4 yr old grandson's hair, he is a handful and needed a place that would be patient with him. I realized this place is not far from my house and read good reviews so I thought why not?. I took him in on a Friday afternoon, after 5 p.m. and had about a 20 minute wait which was fine. When Mayra was ready to take him back, he started crying and did not want to get his hair cut. Mayra was extremely patient with him, offering him a cape for his stuffed animal that he brought with him to match his cape, speaking softly and kindly to him until he calmed down. She took her time, talking with him, engaging with him as he pretended to cut and blow dry his stuffed animal's hair and so much more. She is truly a great person and the absolute best!! He walked out of there happy and handsome with his new haircut. Thank you Mayra!!

I have never posted a review about a hair salon before. I was nervous about being able to get an appointment the same day, especially a Sunday. I called and found out I could just show up as a "walk-in" and they were open till 4pm... great! Mayra cut my hair and was extremely kind and calm. That made me feel very comfortable. I also liked the environment of the salon, small and cozy. Mayra was so wonderful and pleasant, she blow dried my hair for me as it was quite windy and chilly out. I normally just let it air dry. She even encouraged me to continue growinhg my hair out. Mayra told me how often I should come back for a trim to keep it healthy. This salon has very reasonable prices and my wait time was literally minutes! This will not be my last visit, and Happy Holidays to all!

Besides the salon being clean & well maintain, they are very welcoming. LOVE how Mayra NEVER disappoints me. Not only does she make sure how you are doing every step of the way but, she also tells you about your type of hair. I will continue to drive far, if that’s what it takes to get the best salon service! They are the best! HANDS DOWN! 😊💜

Love this place! The staff is super friendly and I not only was able to get my hair cut the way I wanted it after frying it completely from bleaching it too much but i have bangs! No other place has ever been able to cut my bangs like I've wanted them my whole life! (I'm super excited about that) The staff is super friendly and ive never seen so much multitasking and perfection in a salon . I got advice on how to bring my hair back to life and the best pixie cut ever! I have found my new salon to go to!

Mayra is AMAZING! Y’all, haven’t cut my hair in 2 yrs as a blonde scarred from bad hair cuts and letting my hair grow out and she was fabulous, didn’t cut too much, was cautious. Didn’t make me feel bad about my damaged hair 🙌 The shampoo was THE BEST I EVER HAD! I would go in just for a shampoo. Conversation was great, quick service, great place. Definitely recommend, great prices!

The lady that cut my hair was very professional and polite. She did not use one cuss word while talking to me “ which means a lot to me” and did not try to push any product. I will be back, I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a hair stylist.

I am very picky on who handles my hair and I finally found someone I can trust. I have been going to Shelby for three years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Shelby takes pride in her work and will do everything she can to make sure her customers are happy. She doesn’t just jump in and say yeah your hair will take this she knows her stuff and asks all the needed questions to ensure the right products will be ok for your hair. Shelby isn’t the only star at star haircutters she has a great coworker that does great work as well. Mayra is really great with color my daughter goes to her for all her hair needs. This duo shows great customer service and definitely enjoys what they do and puts a smile on everyone’s face. You won’t go wrong giving this place a chance I highly recommend these lovely ladies.

I am very pleased with my hair cut. I love a few things about this shop. They have perfect hours. They are open until 7 PM most days and they are the only good Hair cutters open on Sunday in Temple that I've been too. The customer service hit it out of the part with Myra. She was so nice and did a excellent job on my hair cut. Another cool thing about them is they offer 7 day policy if you are not happy or decide you wanted your hair cut a little more you can come back and get that done for Free! The price was very reasonable and the service was a grand slam in bottom of the ninth!

Been there a few times and Shelby has done my hair every time! Extremely satisfied with my cut every time and very polite and clean! The atmosphere is fantastic and would definitely recommend!

Came in not knowing what to expect. My wife had said they did a good job on our infant son. This is the best haircut experience I have ever had. The staff was not only professional but they tackled the rough areas of my hair that other barbershops just tend to ignore like the cow licks and areas that stick up. As far as I’m concerned they are the best in Texas. As long as I’m in central Texas no one else will touch My hair!

Been there twice so far and have not been disappointed. I cannot remember the lady's name that cut my hair. She did a great job. Also was friendly and talkative. Much needed considering my egregious experience with a nearby Sport Clips before I had arrived.

The amount of professionalism they have, and portray of the shop is top notch. I can say with out a doubt the owners show everyone with kindness and insure everyone is satisfied and extremely. I would highly recommend any living in the temple and killeen area to come check them out. You won’t be disappointed one bit. From clipper cuts, women’s cut to even color. They give out high quality work.

I love how Mayra treats you like a family member and not just a "customer." She makes a connection with everyone she cuts and styles to give that perfect look. My family loves her! My son had a very traumatic first haircut and he would freak out when it was haircutting time. Mayra changed all of that! He literally begs for a haircut now! Shes just amazing! Always has a smile on her face as well! Plus she does an amazing job on my brows! Couldn't be more happy with the Service here! 5 out of 5 Stars!
