My husband and I have used Dave over the years. He is honest and has always been fair regarding any dealings we have ever had with him. He knows his boats too.

We've had our boat in storage at Magnum Marine for well over a year with ZERO issues. Any dealings with the owner have been great .... He answers any questions that we have and we have access to our boat whenever we want it.

Since coming under new ownership this place has turned around. Much cleaner, nicer RVs and much better service when it comes to storage

I wish I could leave a 4.5 star rating. I came in to purchase an RV they had posted online. The RV was exactly what they posted and for the price as advertised.

Few things to note:
- check tires before you drive out. Had to replace all the tires due to tire rot. Had a hard time driving it to the nearest tire shop. Basically drove on flats.
- had to wait a long while for the registration/license plate to come in (delayed because of COVID issues and new rules).
- text/call/email/Facebook messenger. They respond in all fronts, so communication was better than other places.

Dave, the owner, is a liar and scam artist. Sold a boat as a broker, told an elderly woman that the boat had numerous repairs but could not produce the original receipts. He assured her the documentation she provided were accurate and complete (title, registration, etc.). He then sold us the boat, and provided documents that were incomplete and did not even hold up to the bill of sale that HE signed.
One year later, we are STILL fighting with the wildlife and DMV to get the boat and trailer registered. We have paid more money due to titles that were signed by an executor that was not an executor, signed incorrectly and notarized, etc.

Dave is FULL of excuses. Says he will fix it... and when held to it... says, "you've had the boat for a year, not my problem." Yet.... he has his money, and provided no legal documents to legally transfer a boat that HE sold. He is a fraudster, liar and con artist. STAY CLEAR!!!!!!!!! We are now having to work directly with the previous owner because Dave is FULL of excuses and lies and refuses to do anything to clear his mistake, by selling a boat without a clear title.

We recently stored our camper with magnum marine. Beware that they use the storage yard for parts. Our camper was missing the 125 dollar battery when we went to pick it up. Most of the other campers and boat appeared to have been used for parts also. We reported it to the owner and he said it was not his problem and it probably didn't have one when we stored it, but somehow they were able to move the camper and raise the electric stabilizers???

Made an offer on a boat listed with Magnum Marine and had it accepted. The day I went to pick the boat up Dave had one of his workers call to tell me the seller backed out because they couldn't afford the loss and would no longer be selling the boat. Just saw the boat still listed with a new lower price, without an offer to try and purchase the boat. Seems like very poor business practices going on there. Very disappointed with their service, would not suggest anyone to use this business.

**Please note that this business has at least 3 BBB complaints in the past 12 months!!

Purchased a boat from "Capt Dave", the most unprofessional businessman. It's no wonder that Bill at Tideline Marina (a very reputable Marina in Jacksonville) fired Dave.

He sold us a boat without a clear title. Advised the elderly lady that he was selling it for that the documentation that she provided was accurate and acceptable. The title was signed as executor, and she was not an executor, and was halfway signed over to someone else who backed out of the deal. This leaves us to fight with the DMV and wildlife, and ultimately contact the seller to get the documentation because "Capt Dave" scammed her AND us.

He is FULL of excuses.... back issues, wife's ailments, out of town, medicine drop offs, pharmacy, more back issues, etc. Always an excuse as to why he cannot get what is needed. When selling the boat he took OVER a month, and it took a threat of dropping the deal. We should have fled then!

Now... that he supposedly has the info... it has taken OVER a year fighting with several avenues and threatening legal action, and still Dave refuses to have any interest.

He is a liar, scammer, and con artist. STEER CLEAR!! READ REVIEWS!! Many reviews on Uhaul, Google, Yelp, FB, AND BBB complaints. He is NOT truthful OR professional. Save yourself the time AND money.... GO ELSEWHERE!

New owner and his son are Dishonest, Very litigious, rude and unprofessional. Do not leave any equipment at this lot for any reason.
The owners make up fake law suits with bogus fees amounting to large sums of money, then attempt to steal your property to pay for so called “fees”.
STEAR CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!

I went to purchase a boat I viewed online. Many of the items listed on the boat were not present, nor would he give me my money back or make it right. This man is a Con and a Liar, for ones own protection avoid all business with Magnum Marine.
