Rio Grande Bar & Grill

Ro Grande was recommended by a friend and this is our second visit. The food is so fresh with layers of flavor with portion size just right. I had the beef burrito which was so moist and many subtle flavors that complement the chili sauce and pico and guacamole and not heavy on the cheese like so many places. This rates as a hidden gem!!

I love this place. If you’re looking for a great atmosphere, food and customer service in Germantown this is your spot. The happy hour is a lot of fun and you will see a lot of friendly locals. I love that I can bring my son and enjoy happy hour at the entire establishment. I am always greater with hugs and big smiles. Today we ordered the fish tacos and they were fantastic. My only complaint is that even happy hour it’s a bit expensive but I guess everything is now anyways.

The Masitas de Puerco or in English, pork chunks were delicious, very tender, and juicy. They were not deep fried, which made me happy as I hadn't tried the Masitas this way before. They were seasoned just right, Fork tender and served with black beans, rice, and plantains. The portion is very generous and had to take the rest of dinner to go. My friend had the Lomo Saltado and said it was delicious, I looked over at the plate, and it was pretty empty, so I'm taking their word for it, lol. Churros was our dessert, and it did not disappoint. The chocolate served with it was more than enough for both of us to share.

The staff was awesome, and some were joking around with us. They had the right amount of checking in to see if we needed more water or anything else, and that was with all the staff, not just our server.

Overall, it was a nice place with great food and a comfortable atmosphere. I'm definitely coming back here again to try other things on the menu and possibly happy hour. Cheers!

The food and service of this place was very friendly and fast. Kuddos to Daniel our server. We came from Florida for the MLS NEXT FLEX tournament at the Soccer Flex venue and decide to come here. The Mango Margarita….. great. Salsa verde, exquisite. The best birrias tacos ever. Will come again always for Skirt Steak Fajitas. See you next year. Adios amigos!!!!

I love the small place, but it is big on character and flavor. The authenticity of the Mexican cuisine was exceptional!

All of our food was delivered fast and was fresh and delicious. I did ask for dressing on the side and it came in the salad but thankfully it was not too much. My son and husband had the chicken burrito platter and they loved it. The margarita and sangria were delicious. Finally the decor is very cute. The feeling was very authentic.

A hidden gem in Germantown! Delicious food, friendly service, and prompt delivery! Their spicy green salsa was amazing, and their mango margaritas delicious.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality, quantity and professional service at this restaurant! Chicken Sopes were delicious. Chicken and waffles with a generous amount of chicken! Crab dip had great flavor but a bit too greasy. Nevertheless, I would come back again and try something new.

From the warm welcome to their hospitality it made us feel like old friends. The food was delicious with large portions. They accommodated our dietary requests without a hesitation. Tonight we shared steak fajitas and a steak dish. Didn’t want the meal to end. We can’t wait to go back soon and introduce friends. We highly recommend this new hidden gem. Bon Appetite 😋

Best food in my neighborhood! I originally found this place while looking for something new and near my barber, me and my friend wanted to try something new. When we first walked in we were kinda unsure if it was a good place as it was empty and the free water was not that good. The place however was very clean and well maintained. However once they brought the chips and the sauce we knew we were in for a surprise. I got a chicken burrito and mango smoothie. The mango smoothie reminded me of one I had in mexico and the burrito was really good! The chicken burrito had a green tomatillo sauce in it and beans,rice,sour cream, pico de gallo and cheese. The manager’s name is luis and he speaks english and spanish! I ended up coming back here several times and even came here on my birthday! They sang for me, put a sombreo on my head and gave me cake. Also if you come with a big family they will combine the tables for you! Overall I have been here 4+ times and have never had a single problem. The only bad thing I can say is the water but thats free so there is no complaint.

Our dinner here was so good. Came with mom and grandma for my bday. Exactly what we were looking for! Great food, AND great service! Highly recommend! Will be back

Food was really good...like everything! Make sure you try the tres leches and the fajita special with shrimp, steak, chicken, and sausage did not disappoint wife and I. Found our new spot!

My parents and I stumbled upon this place and we are so happy we did! You can always tell how good a place will be by their salsa. My first bite and I was sold. Of course we had to try the guacamole and margaritas - they were equally amazing. The main courses were mouth watering good. Then to top it all off we had churros.
Everyone was so attentive and the atmosphere was really lovely.
This restaurant is a new favorite and I plan to bring friends and rave about it to everyone.

10/10 Recommend. The food was cooked perfectly, and big sized plates definitely worth the money. The best food is not rushed.GET THE MARISCO SALTADO you will thank me later! SO GOOD. Loved the small atmosphere as well! They have reservation options, if you can doesn't matter if you are just going for lunch book a reservation you will thank me later! The waiters&waitresses will be able to give you a much better experience because they expect you are coming. Went with my family last night and great service. They work hard they work fast.

We love coming here for brunch on the weekends! Great food and drinks, plus excellent service. They are very family friendly and we look forward to spending time there. Highly recommend!

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide Adult drink list, Food List, and wonderful desserts. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again. Ordered a steak medium rare was very delicious and fresh.

It was our first time there the food was amazing nice size portions, not crowded at all, service was good as well. We didn't get to try desert because we were so full.

Great place! We got the chili cheese nachos and their queso is so good. We also got the chicken & waffles and chicken tacos. All delicious. I’ll definitely go back for more tacos!

The pictures were an after thought, but the idea is there! This little restaurant is a hidden treasure. I definitely recommend!
