Love & Grit Farm LLC

Kristin from Love & Grit Farm was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator, and we are so grateful for that! When it came to ceremony decor, our priorities included natural materials, woman-owned small-business opportunity, local products, and low-waste options… Love & Grit Farm fit perfectly!

Our coordinator let us know that, because of how much work it takes to run a farm, it could take a little longer than expected to hear back on our original inquiry. However, since we reached out well in advance, Kristin got back to us in good time. We had a brief call about our vision, inspiration, and needs, where Kristin was able to verbalize exactly what we wanted and how she would and could deliver it.

We wanted greenery only, but it was nice to receive quoted costs for added blooms and personal flowers just in case we changed our mind.

Since our contract called for locally foraged greenery, we wouldn’t/couldn’t really know what Kristin’s final arrangements would look like until they were set up at our ceremony venue.

Fast forward, on our wedding day, we saw Kristin and her assistant, Eleanor, bring our exact vision to life in real time. The greenery was so fresh and bright, adding such tasteful elegance to our already beautiful venue. it was breathtaking, and every guest commented on that. We have no regrets, only praise!

It is so wonderful to be a part of Love & Grit’s CSA program. Not only do you get locally grown chemical-free veggies, but you get to meet like-minded members of your community when you join the CSA. I love CSA pickup days to chat with neighbors and be on the beautiful farm. Love & Grit uses homemade compost for growing and also offers classes to their CSA members to further their knowledge in natural wellness, cooking with CSA veggies, herbs, flower arranging, and more!

Love & Grit is truly a gem within our community. Their produce and products are delicious and grown with love and care. Their eggs are absolutely the best, most flavorful that we've ever had. And their hospitality and warmth is genuine and abundant. I can tell that Love & Grit loves nourishing and serving our community and I love being able to support them in return while also gaining delicious food. We are truly fortunate to have them in our local community.

Our family loves being a part of the farm's CSA. It's so fun visiting the farm and greeting the chickens, farm cats, and FarmHer Kristin. My 18-month old's eating habits are more adventurous and more nutrient-dense as a result of knowing the farm and farmer from whom we get our food. One of her favorite foods is beets - thanks for Love & Grit Farm!

The hospitality that Kristin extends is so genuine, as are her earth-healthy farming practices. It feels supporting an organization that embodies care for the community.

Love & Grit Farm is a slice of heaven! We absolutely LOVE visiting the farm and being CSA Members! We are excited to participate in the upcoming events and opportunities on the farm and couldn't speak more highly of what owner, Kristin is doing on and with her land!

This will be my third year in joining Love & Grit Farm LLC produce and herb shares. The weekly shares have been fresh and bountiful. At times extra produce is up for grabs free of charge. Talking with the farmers is a treat. Pick up is organized, orderly, and accommodating. An end of the season potluck is a joyous event.

I appreciated the easy pick-up process, delicious fresh vegetables, bountiful fresh herbs and homey atmosphere at the farm. The passion Kristen has for Love and Grit farm is heart warming. Looking forward to the '23 season!

Such a treasure to enjoy the bounties of Love & Grit Farm. Farm fresh and lasts tremendously longer than grocery store products. Have loved being part of this from the beginning.
