I had an amazing experience here today! The nurse that took me first was amazing and so kind and the dr was super knowledgeable and empathetic. I feel hopeful that he will be able to figure out a solution to my eye problems. Highly recommend!

Great care is what you get here. Caring and knowledgeable staff, Explains everything to you about your eyes and whats going on, and treatment or care, my glasses were perfect, i can now see. They take pride in everything they do there, large waiting room and variety of frames to choose from, They fit good also, they do adjustments as needed also. My Dr was very helpful and im amazed to see again. Without glasses i am legally blind. Thank you for giving my life back Dr. Black.

I have worked as a nurse in health-care for 30 years. I think I am a good judge of medical services. I have been to Frankfort Eye Center first for a workers comp eye injury and later for exam and contact fitting. I have never had any complaints and always received professional, knowledgeable and caring service. These people care about your eye care. I highly recommend them.

I've been going here for many years. I don't even live in Frankfort anymore, and this is my preferred ophthalmologist. It takes 45 minutes to drive here from where I live now. I like this place so much that I take all of my kids and my parents. Some days are busier than others, but we never usually have a long wait, and there's usually only a weeks wait to get our glasses in. I definitely recommend going here.

Friendly front desk. Only eye doctor that knew what issue I had in an emergency situation. Quickly resolved my issue and knew what to do in case it happened. Quick service but made time to answer questions. Highly recommended.

My whole family has been going here for about 5 years. We have always encountered friendly and personable staff members there. I have recommended to several friends.

And Sri did my cataracts, perfect..Dr. Good does my eye exams, perfect...they are kind, courteous and professional!

Girl who is supposed to a just glasses does not know how and acts like she is afraid to touch you.

I have tried for two weeks solid to order contacts. The lady who is in charge of doing so is never there nor has she returned my calls. I have been trying to call the office all morning and I'm just getting "mail box full". The front office is not very helpful in getting patients what they need and with communication. I liked the provider I saw at my visit, but the office itself is so poorly run that I am going to have to go elsewhere. It is sad to find a good doctor but be unable to do so because a subpar support staff.

Not bad service but their overbooking is too much. I consistently had to wait an hour or more to be seen. I will be finding a new clinic.

The doctors are fine, but the wait here is INSANE. Be prepared to wait 1-3 hours with no explanation or apology. We had a 2:30 appointment and at 4:15 we still had not seen the doctor. I have a 1 year old and trying to entertain a one year old in a small waiting room with no explanation is exhausting.

The nurse that was taking pictures of my 4 year olds eyes was very impatient acted like it was an issue that my daughter was asking questions about the eye machines. Just very rude to my children. I don’t recommend taking young children they obviously have no patience or experience with them.

Firstly, I made an appt with opthalmologist and ended that appt was with optometrist. Fine, I got RX for eyeglasses and contacts. Would not check my eye glasses after receipt because I got them online. Will not go back.

After my eyes were examined they wanted to charge for a pair contact trials before I spent money on buying boxes of them. Never going there again.

I'm very disappointed. Before going here, I called and talked to a lady named Pam. She was nice when I talked to her. I explained that I didn't have any emergency situation or anything, but noticed my vision was getting worse in my left eye. I told her that I didn't want to go get it checked out if it would cost hundreds of dollars or something crazy. She took all of my insurance info and afterwards told me that it would only cost me $25 and to rest assured that I wouldn't be charged for anything above that for the eye exam. I went in for my exam and was told that glasses may help but that nothing urgent was going on with my vision and that it just decreases with age. I paid Pam $25 when I left and thought everything was good. About a month later, I receive a $155 bill in the mail. I called and explained what happened. I was referred to Jennifer L who is the billing manager. She completely understood where I was coming from and was apologetic, but ultimately said that they wouldn't write this off because it has already gone through insurance. I told her that this would be like a waiter telling you that a meal is $25 and you pay and then they mail you a bill for another $155 saying ooops, sorry. This has been a horrible experience!
