We came in for an early dinner just as they opened on a Saturday night. The best dining experience I’ve had in Montauk, hands down! The ceviche was worth the visit alone.

The space is understated and serene, the perfect atmosphere to enjoy their creative & masterfully executed menu.

Thank you for providing a space in Montauk that puts such thought into every aspect of the guest experience. This will be a space we will visit any time we’re in the area.

In a sea of tourist traps with below-average food and above-average prices, there is Rooted. My wife & I were there on a Tuesday night. The place was filled with local restaurant workers on their night off - which is always a good sign. The food was delicious and portions big. The bill was not inexpensive - this is Montauk after all - but it was fair. Our server was kind and attentive. In other words, it was great. They had a musician named Bobby Murray playing acoustic guitar and singing fun songs that tilted Country. I highly recommend Rooted. The employees do not have an attitude, so please don’t bring one with you

So yummy! Be sure to ask about the vegan options. Cocktails are awesome as well. Be sure to make reservations, there aren't very many tables and it fills up quickly.

Rooted was our favorite spot during our weekend in Montauk. The bruschetta was so good we cleaned the whole plate. Service was attentive and kind, the atmosphere is trendy with beautiful lighting. Food and drinks were so amazing I can’t recommend this spot enough! The walk around the marina after was a nice touch.

I'm in town from Philadelphia and enjoyed the hospitality of the manager, my Philly homegirl Alex. The food and drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere was superb. Put this restaurant on your list.

What a great addition to Montauk! The food, the drinks, the music, the space…..all on point. The butter poached lobster tail and the brioche bun ice cream sandwich are not to be missed!

Everything about Rooted is excellent. We decided to try it on a whim and we are all so glad that we did! The dining area is sleek and simple yet has a warm and classy feel to it. We didn't have a reservation but the staff was welcoming and found us a table right away- we were there pretty early in the evening (6:00ish) and it got busier about an hour after we arrived. The server was really friendly and the food was outstanding. Three of us shared the lamb meatballs, focaccia with whipped ricotta and dukkah, fluke ceviche, green beans with green olives and feta and the crab pasta. Everything was unique and delicious. Portions are a bit on the small size for the price but the flavor is huge!

Great food, service and quiet location with parking. Seafood options were excellent!

Lovely dinner at Rooted! The food is creative and delicious. Very high quality plates. Highlights were the ceviche, summer salad, and bucatini. We will definitely be back to try their new menu when it changes for the season!

Amazing restaurant. Beautiful decor in this tiny gem, good service and amazing food. We loved the ceviche and the jerk fish tacos. The owner, Demi, sat with us for a few minutes, as did the chef, both were so kind. One of our new favorite spots to visit!

This is one of the best places we’ve been to recently, and we live in NYC. Really interesting fusion menu and all dishes beautifully prepared and presented. And interestingly all women owned with chef Stephanie in the kitchen. Thank you Masha for very friendly service. Bright airy but also intimate restaurant.

A little gem in Montauk run by 2 young ladies who are passionate and caring about food and customer service. We were lucky to catch them just before they closed for the season. The Fall Salad, Gnudi, Lamb Chops and Salted Chocolate Cake were perfection. We will definitely return when they reopen next Spring!

From the food (loved the salad and all the crostinis), to the drinks (I've never had such a yummy/unique mocktail), and the music (sexy downtempo), to the spacial details (hello Mexico City).

I am beyond excited to finally have a venue I look forward to visiting. I don't write reviews, but I realllllly want you all to experience everything Rooted offers. Last thing -- the owners are so welcoming and hands on. Say hello!

This bijou space has it all: beautiful décor, an incredible drink and wine list, and food that is prepared with the utmost attention to detail. This woman run and operated space is a must visit when out in Montauk. Be sure to also visit for brunch as well!

Demi has created a marvelous ambiance and displays a wonderful and warm hospitality experience for all guests.

This place is a must. Put it in the short rotation with crows nest and il bucco amongst the best restaurants in the area.
