Wonderful place with nice view of the sea. Beautiful and serene place. Had to wait more than 30 minutes enter to the light house. They will allow you to climb the steps until you reach the light on top. It was a good experience.

Was delightful and beautiful . It's breathtaking. I'd definitely wear some shoes with a good grip if you would like to explore.was a bit foggy on this particular morning. Was hoping to catch the sunrise, but I still enjoyed every second spent there . Can't wait to take another trip up there . Also, I have yet to get a closer look at the lighthouse . On my to-do list for my next visit to Montauk point !

Magnificent experience. Best time to visit is in the evening. Make sure to observe park timing. Tower collides closes at 5 on weekday and 6 on weekends. There is parking is restricted rooms at the tower whereas many hotels and refreshments during the way. The route is full of beautiful and mesmerizing views.

They stay open until 6pm on Sunday. Parking was free after 4pm we got lucky with that. Otherwise it's $8 to park. Tickets are reasonable. For the museum and to climb up the light house. It was only $15. Beautiful views all around the area. Great photo ops! Only down side was the 1 hr wait to go up the light house. The staff is friendly and helpful.
There's a gift shop and bathrooms are right behind the shop.

Be sure to check out the rocky beach. Proper footwear is recommended, however, as it can be a bit challenging to walk on the rocks. This area is also a surfer's paradise, if that's your jam.
Overall, a very nice and relaxing experience!!

We visited the lighthouse and were very impressed by the beautiful views. You can climb the lighthouse, and there is also a museum. The museum has a fascinating exhibit featuring all the lighthouses on the coast. You can light them up and see how they look. There is also an interactive map. Highly recommend visiting the museum to everyone.

A breathtaking experience and glad to have decided to make this trip. It was beautiful. How I wish I could have seen it at night, it could have been spectacular. Walked around the beach area and felt the serenity of the place. If you’d like to come here and didn’t want to drive from NYC - I took the LIRR from Penn station all the way to Montauk and hired an uber to bring me to this beautiful place. I enjoyed the train ride. But should you decide to drive over, there’s plenty of parking lots in the area.

The farthest point of New York State is a park that will be interesting for people who love history, fishing, and hiking. You can also spend a couple of days camping, with the same daily price for public parking and camping. The area has a wild beach with round-shaped rocks. You might even find fossils if you know how to look for them. The park is a great and fun destination for families and adults.

Lighthouse, check! Seashore, check! Rocks, check! And no pesky buildings or resorts in sight! We had a blast at the Montauk Light House Museum on a weekday, where the only thing more breathtaking than the scenic view from the top, the price of parking tickets before 4 pm ($8, in case you were wondering). But hey, at least kids under a certain height got in for free!

Really epic. Commissioned by George Washington. Got a really nice tote bag for 21 dollars in the gift shop. $8 for parking
$15 for admission. I did not go inside on this visit but have in the last

We brought our friends from France here today. Despite the weather being a bit foggy, the rain held out and we had a great day at the park, museum, and Lighthouse. We were able to climb all the way to the top! The staff are very friendly and informative 😊

Very neat to see the MTK Light House from the top! Added bonus to park at the Camp Hero trail head, walk east. The trail ends with a beautiful view of the Light House!

If you want to climb the lighthouse, I would definitely get a ticket to the museum. The museum is very technical and I would have preferred more information about how the people used to live in that lighthouse.

Majestic, timeless, and breathtaking beauty. Worth the trip to the top of the lighthouse. Beware of the short but awkward climb to the top. Lighthouse closes at 4:30 on a weekday.

Definitely worth seeing the inside of the functioning lighthouse! Parking is 8$ but gives you access to all the provincial parks.

The Lighthouse itself is cool for a visit; there's a museum and nice views at the top! The park is also very pretty, and it's worth it to walk on the rocks and the rocky beach, very relaxing and fun! Public bathrooms are in the parking lot next to a playground!!

Nice scenery, great nature. You may come not just for the movie, but you can actually relax, chill and enjoy the whole place

Had a great time visiting on a Sunday! Free parking with Empire Pass. Waited about 101 minutes to go up the lighthouse at around noon. You’re able to see the lens up close.

Very pretty! I did not go up the lighthouse because it was an hour long wait and I’m not that obsessed with lighthouses hahaha. Still pretty and you are able to walk in the first floor of it.
