STRICTLY SURF

We’re so happy to see that Monte is doing so well having known him more than 15 years when he first worked at Main Beach Surf. Monte is incredible. He took my son to the beach on his lunch hour the day we bought him his first surfboard when he was about 12 years old in mid-January. His enthusiasm for surfing is obvious and is incredibly patient and gives great recommendations when needing equipment. Whether you’re just thinking about starting surfing or you’re very experienced or new to this area, have no concerns; Monte is five stars all around.

This surf shop is the real deal. I was always intimidated going into surf shops because as a woman, I always felt I was treated differently. Just like when I walk into a mechanic’s shop. It is easy for people to feel they can take advantage. But NOT with Monte and the crew at Strictly Surf. Monte was the first person in any shop to really listen to ehat I had to say and helped me find a board that was right for me! He’s also the instructor that helped me understand the wave in order to catch them.

Long winded way of saying it’s a great shop. And to the guy who said it smelled like weed and thought the employee was being flirtatious….New neoprene and lots of it often smells like weed. I wouldn’t confuse being kind and a saleman with being flirtatious. Jealousy says more about your relationship and you than it does about a random employee at a surf shop.

Top notch store! Monte is the man and very knowledgeable of all things surf. Jake Emmerson is obviously an insecure kook and prob should give up surfing and grab some roller skates so he can just stay home and braid his chicks hair. Loser.

Best shop out east Monty’s the man. Best prices and super helpful.

This is an epic surf shop. Amazing ding repair and board selection. The owner knows as much about surfboards as anyone you will ever find. Dude must dream about surfboards every night.
