This is the best fishing trip we ever had! Capt. Jim and his mate Mark completed nailed it. Not only we caught some BIG stripers and a lot of seabasses, but also the whole trip was filled with excitement, joy and friendliness. Jim and Mark are great with kids with patience and humor. It is more like a big family fun trip and my two young sons totally loved it (they even fed the seagulls by hand)! Thanks again and we totally recommend their service to anyone looking for a great fishing day out in Montauk on the water.

Great morning of fishing. We had several 30lb plus seabass and one over 50. Great boat, captain, and first mate. Would highly recommend Captain Jim and Mark, excellent teamwork and comradery. Took my son 16 and nephew 18 out for the day and their arms were smoked from reeling. I would definitely commend Tailwrapped fishing charters.

We had an amazing trip.. we had striped bass up to 50 pounds all the fish were Trophy size.. 35 to 50 pound fish..And all were properly released.. We also had a few slot fish for the cooler ..Capt. Ji is very well experienced and will show you an excellent fishing

Best tuna fishing trip ever! Captain Jim put us on the fish immediately. The radio was weeping about where the fish were, meanwhile I was catching the biggest tuna of my life. With the 140lb bluefin in the boat, we were all smiles. Unreal experience, highly recommend!

From Carolyn setting up our trip and capt Jim getting us on our limit of tuna almost immediately to Mark his mate who made each catch seamless. All with lots of laughs and having a great time. I thought I was just going fishing but instead made some good new friends I highly recommend this outfit you won't be disappointed .

Best day of fishing ever! Went out on 8/29/22, half day, morning trip. Within 5 min of putting the lines in the water, we had our first fish on. The action absolutely did not stop the rest of the trip. Caught Stripers, and Sea bass. Both Capt. Sean, and Red man were absolutely unbelievable. Not only did they put us on the fish the entire time, they even helped us out with technique. They were especially helpful with my young son and nephew. Really showed them how to fish. Also, Capt. Sean is very humorous, which made the trip that much more enjoyable. Great day. You absolutely will catch fish with Tailwrapped. We will DEFINITELY be going back. #1

We had a great trip with Captain Jim the past weekend. We were on the fish right away and had the striper limit reached before we knew it! The people, boat and gear was all top notch and we will definitely be going back out with the TailWrapped crew!!

Captain Jimmy is on the mark, he knows. We were on fish literally within minutes our first man was fighting a bluefin. Shortly after that the next guy had a bluefin ripping off line, as we we were surrounded by hump back whales and dolphins.
By the end of the day we caught a lot of fish. We left Montauk with an amazing experience, and a load of fish.

From beginning to end, Captain Sean (‘Jimmy’) and First Mate Chris were amazing! Captain Sean was very responsive leading up to our trip and provided all relevant information. We had a great day out on the water and the boat was immaculate. My husband and I do not have much fishing experience, but that did not matter. Chris was very knowledgeable and patient teaching the different techniques to properly fish. When there were no bites, Captain Sean moved us to a new spot. We ended up catching a few fish during our trip! Captain Sean and Chris are true fisherman, with many years of experience, and were extremely knowledgeable. Even better, they were incredibly personable, friendly, funny, and an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. To top it all off, we received a Tail Wrapped souvenir and delicious homemade chocolate! If you are looking for a great fishing day out in Montauk on the water, we highly recommend!

Won 1/2 day inshore fishing trip from Tailwrapped Sportsfishing Charters at the Ward Melville fishing show. From the beginning dealing with Caroline and Sean was a pleasure. They couldn't be more accommodating as to the date selection and what we wanted to fish for. Myself and four friends went, caught seabass and stripebass. The boat and the equiptment were excellent and the mate Brian was on top of everything. All in all it was a great trip.
