Crunch Time Sport Fishing Charters Montauk

Cpt. TJ & 1st Mate Josie had us on the fish all day, my two sons (10 & 8) caught fish all day. Today was catching all day, we caught so many fish we lost count. This team did amazing and my kids had a great time and TJ and Josie were fun and inviting. Keep it up guys next time we are in Montauk we’ll be back.

Went out on today’s open boat and it was great day fishing with Capt TJ and Mate Josie. We got on the fish and Capt TJ hunted down the fluke all day. This is boat worth the trip to Montauk for sure.

First off I have to say that Captain TJ and mate Josie are first class people. We are a family of 8 and we are not novices to any type of fishing, whether salt or fresh.
I have been on too many charter and party boats to count, including overseas in other countries, but I have to tell you that the best experience by far has been with Crunch Time with Tj and Josie.
The boat is clean, cabin has an a/c and the head is clean as well with a sink to wash up when needed.
The tackle is first rate, Josie had all bait and tackle ready to go before we got to the first spot to drop lines.
Once we got to our first spot, the minute the rig hit bottom we were on fish galore!
I personally caught over 40 fish in the time on the boat and had quite a few keepers. Same went for the kids, and Josie showed professionalism with the kids and a ton of patience as well.
When the trip was done the fish were expertly filleted and cleaned and put on ice.
When the trip was over my family felt like we made friends and we definitely recommend them and we will personally be back in the fall.

Tj was an excellent captain and his first mate Josie was a great first mate. He knew where to find the striped bass. We caught a lot of fish. It was a gorgeous weather with wonderful friends. Would Highly recommend him again.

Second Charter with Crunch Time and had another amazing experience. Captain TJ wants you to be successful. The boat is very clean and they give you good instruction on how to fish each particular style. On both half day trips we caught all our Slot fish and many over slot up to 41 inches. Just a great charter!

Where to begin! Capt TJ is one of the best captains i've ever had the pleasure to fish with. This is the second time I've gone out with him and he helped me land the biggest fish of my life. My father in law went fishing with him for Tuna 2 years ago and it was such an incredible trip, we had to go chase some stripers with him. We went last week and he immediately got us onto fish. He's such a great guy with a wonderful family and first mate. I can't thank him and his crew enough for giving us a wonderful day with a ton of fish and memories. He's the best Montauk has to offer and we will for sure be back for more. If you're looking to catch a fish of a lifetime, look no further!

TJ and Dave are the best in Montauk. They are safe, fun and put you on a bunch of fish. We had a blast and caught a lot. The fish are being cooked up for dinner later. We will be back and would highly recommend booking with them.

Had an awesome experience with Thomas on our fishing trip on Saturday. Professionally organized and Thomas knows the places to hit to catch the big fish!

Crunch Time made our full day charter yesterday very memorable. We had a group of six which included my uncle who is over 80yrs old. They accommodated us in every way. A lot of elbow room on a large boat. Most importantly Capt. TJ put us on the fish. All day we had arm burning action and went home with many many perfectly cleaned filets thanks to first mate Marco who worked very hard with a smile. Thanks Capt. TJ and Marco for helping to create another great family memory for us..... we will see you again!!!

Half day trip was an absolute blast. Guys were knowledgeable, fun and we caught a ton of fish. I was a complete novice and by the end of the day these guys had me reeling in keepers like a pro. Thanks for a great day gentlemen.

Did a full day charter and had an absolute blast. TJ did a great job keeping us on the fish. These guys truly want to see their guests have a good time. They make suggestions and give tips when appropriate but also allow you to use your own style. Boat was clean and these boys hustle to get fish in the box!
