We have been out with Captain Ken quite a few times, and we will keep coming back! This trip had 6 of us - me, my wife, my two boys, and our friends Stan and Nancy. Ken put on the fish within minutes, and worked hard to make sure we caught all trip long! After it was all done, Adam cleaned the fish perfectly and we ate them that night at Stat island! A great day!

Thank you Captain for a day well beyond expectations. I brought a crew of experienced and beginner fisherman. All has nothing but praise for the experience. Response and action to changing conditions resulted in immediate action in landing fish and all day action. Well done!

We had an amazing time with Captain Ken and first mate Mike. We have been out on many fishing charters and this was one of our favorite trips by far. We were celebrating my friend’s bachelor party and we had a great fishing experience. Coordinating with Captain Ken was a simple seamless process and he made sure we had everything we needed and more. The boat was a great size and clean and comfortable. I’ve done a lot of fishing around the world. Many, many charters. Ken and Mike stand out as by far the best. They’re fantastic with kids (I took 5 with me), their boat is set up very well for safety and for the cold, gear is perfect, but their passion for fishing and sharing that passion is what sets them apart.

You’re not paying for 5 hrs fishing, you’re paying for 2 lifetimes of fishing experience which is priceless.

While all the other charters were catching bluefish (very easy here, and if you’re an Aussie, they’re Tailor, but MASSIVE, even the small ones would make the local fishing rag back home). While everyone else was sitting easy catching bluefish, Ken and Mike were working really hard to get us onto the striped bass. We were the only boat out there pulling them in consistently, most had to be put back because they were oversized. We caught about 70 fish in 5 hrs and booked immediately for 2 days later. Which ended up being even better

One of my kids managed to pull in a 60lb striped bass with a jig but we all caught so many we left tired, sore and with massive smiles.

For almost ten years my family has been going out twice a year (one summer, one fall) with Captain Kenny. I started joining them back in 2016 and every time we go out we know we’re going to come back with a good haul of fish and memories.

From the new-to-fishing all the way to the avid fishermen, Captain Kenny and his mates always take care of us, making sure we have a good time and catch plenty of fish. It doesn’t matter if we have 4 of us or a full boat, as soon as you’re reeling up another, one of them will be there ready to assist.

Captain Ken gave us all a charter we would never forget as we encountered some of the most insane striped bass fishing of our lives. We also caught over 10 different species throughout the trip of varying sizes. Everyone went home with fish and tons of memories. I would highly recommend this charter to anyone looking to fish out of Montauk.

My fishing buddies and I have sailed with him a number of times and we have always come away pleased with the experience.
This trip (Sunday 9/28) I brought all the men in my family and they loved it. The youngest of us caught the biggest fish! This I'm sure is because The captain knows where the fish are and works hard to put you on them. He even remained calm when he caught my son eating a banana, (google it, definitely a no-no on fishing boats).
We all went home with a nice bag of filets and some new memories.
The boat is clean, the cabin is comfortable, & the equipment is first rate.

Chartered with My Joyce for the first time on July 11th. Was immediately very impressed with the boat! Spacious, very clean, very organized. Tackle was ready and waiting. Captain Ken was great - He was there to answer any questions we had throughout the entire day. He also moved us around to find the bottom fish we were there for. The effort paid off as we put together a good catch of fluke, sea bass, ling and a bluefish. As an unexpected bonus, he and his mate Mike spotted signs of shark activity and put out a line. That paid off big time as we hooked a 300+ pound thresher. Awesome fight with the shark, which was ultimately released safely. Mike was also incredibly attentive to everything that was needed, from making sure we were baited up correctly, clearing tangles, landing and filleting our catch, plus great conversation. Would definitely recommend the My Joyce and plan on returning myself!

What a great day - 19 fluke taken home. Thanks Captain Kenny and Mike! The My Joyce was the perfect vessel for our half day outing. The crew was knowledgeable, professional, and easy to talk to. Our 2.5 year old had a good time as well (her first time on a boat like this).

Went on a family fishing trip with my husband and 2 sons and had the best time! Ken was an amazing captain and his mate Mike was amazing as well! So knowledgeable and patient. Caught a bunch of fish and had a blast, my boys especially. They won’t stop talking about how fun it was and already want to book the next trip so we’ll definitely be seeing you again.

Wonderful trip with Capt Ken..been fishing Montauk for 60 years...best trip for me..Mike and Ken treated my Grandkids like their own...even let my 18yr old Granddaughter take the wheel! Mike was as good a mate as I've experienced...

Just finished my annual trip with Capt Ken ...mates Mike and Joe...another absolutely wonderful day with my Granddaughters, Son and Son in law. Couldn't believe the fish we caught! Strippers in the 40lb range and Blues in the 18lb range. We came home with only two slots as everything else was too big to keep!!!!
The Capt and mates treated my granddaughters with absolute courtesy and respect.

We fished with Captain Ken this past weekend and it was the best striped bass fishing I've seen in 10+ years of going out. Within 40 minutes of dropping lines we had 3 keepers and 3 that were well over the limit (>40 inches, 40+ lbs). Would highly recommended Ken and the team to anyone looking to fish out of Montauk.

Fished on the My Joyce this past Sunday afternoon, what a great trip! We ended up landing 5 huge Stripe Bass, a few Sea Bass and one Fluke. We ended up bringing home a ton of fish for family and friends! Grilled some up and it was delicious!!! A lot of thanks to Capt. Ken and Dylan his mate, they really run a great charter. Looking forward to next time.

Perfect day of fishing. Beautiful, spotless boat.Skilled and experienced Captain and mate. First time in Montauk for 6 Jersey guys, 65+ years old. Captain Ken put us on the large sea bass and kept us busy catching all day. We limited on SeaBass and caught cod, porgy, and a 9 pound fluke that was released unharmed. Joe is a great mate, took care of everything quickly and then filleted 70 fish beautifully. Very convenient to hotels and restaurants. We will be back
