Great family run gun shop! I miss when they were 1.5 miles up the road! Courtney and her husband are extremely personable, as were each of their (brilliantly named) children, although I didn't meet all of them.
They installed night sights on one of our weapons and when it came loose (after some intense range therapy and an annual qualification) they fixed it for us happily. If nothing else, it's worth stopping to see some of their custom guns, many of which are INCREDIBLE and some of which are serious works of art!

I've was born into a lifestyle of hunting, military , and law enforcement world of use of firearms. I met the team of Sodan Armament a year ago, and since that time, they have done 3 Custom builds for me and their work is BENEATH NO OTHER.
When I saw the other negative comment, I did some digging, and there is two sides to every story, so I'll be nice and leave it at that.
The team there at Sodan are top of the line when it comes to customer service and will happily discuss with you all your options you have on a custom build, or just a simple purchase. Mind you again, I've done THREE large projects through them, and I'm about as anal as it comes to getting customer service. Nothing gets me more satisfied than belittling idiots that work in fast food joints, big box stores, or up until three years ago, commie starbucks,,,,,, but on the other hand if you are Squared Away and Top Notch, I'll fight to the ends of the earth to uphold your Honor.

Good people

They can get what you need done, done, probably. But they are not very pleasant to work with. Every phone call I had with them was as though I was an inconvenience. My husband was quoted a price, but found out at pick up that the quoted price was for labor only and did not include parts, which I guess if fine, but they could have mentioned it. (Price went from ~$300-400 to over $500). They did not charge for ammo for test shots, which was nice, but the owner had told my husband he wanted to shoot the 1911 anyways. But again, the woman with whom I spoke was literally never polite. Additionally, the safety on his 1911 wasn’t working properly at pickup. After spending $500 on three guns he expected everything to be in working order, to the best of their ability. When she called me back, she started the conversation by saying that my husband walked out and walked right back in to claim the safety didn’t work. She ended the conversation by saying she can’t tell when a gun is taken out of the shop whether it was their fault or ours. We live an hour away so if he walked out and walked back in I’m guessing he didn’t have much time to mess it up. When he got home he took it apart and the spring wasn’t positioned correctly which is why the safety isn’t working properly. It’s unfortunate that they were so unpleasant to deal with because in the past they had done good work and that’s why we followed them when they moved locations. Now, however, we won’t be back.

Judging by the rudeness of the lady answering the phone, when acquiring about an item in stock. Made you feel as if you were a bother. I’ll take my business elsewhere that appreciate my business. Your loss someone else's gain. Good riddance!!!

Nice People but the gun and militaria selection was very small (only about 6 guns and 10 helmetson display) i was abit disapponted because i drove about 45 minutes to get there...hopefully this will improve when they get a bigger building.
