Cute place. Food is really good and has great portion sizes. Just know the bakery and coffee shop are separate. If you want a custom coffee, you had to order and pay at the opposite side of the restaurant. The customer service is always great. I recommend it to everyone. It's great to go for a drive and hike nearby and end the day with a meal here and coffee.

Oh my gosh, I guess the little food spot this is connected to was closed for the day and the one barista on site had her hands FULL but she was so graceful and so gracious. And made some amazing drinks with lots of love. My interest is piqued about the food menu here. Got the chagaccino and a hot tea and a ginger shot. Oh and the bathroom was 😙🤌🏽💥

This is a fantastic little cafe that perfectly fits the vibe of Idyllwild. The baristas did a great job making our drinks. A great place to either grab a treat and go, or stay a while and read a book. I particularly enjoyed my strawberry matcha latte and the lavender milk tea boba. Yes I ordered two drinks - that's how good it was!

Cute. Cozy. Delicious. And great coffee. Can't ask for more. Staff were super friendly, and the food was great. So good we came back a 2nd time at the end of our trip. We enjoyed it more than and other places in town.

Meat and Eggs, California Omelette, and breakfast burrito can all be recommended

The Spanish Latte is also fantastic. Just the right amount of sweetness. Simple latte was also great

I stopped here while on a bike tour to treat myself to a nice breakfast and coffee.

I was really impressed and that’s coming from a specialty coffee shop barista! This cafe definitely beat all the coffee I had in Palm Springs which was truly shocking. The barista was nice and sociable while they made my drink and I enjoyed the family atmosphere of the shared space while I charged up my electronics.

Dear barista who is “still working on their latte art”..
Give yourself a break! All of the cafes I went to didn’t do latte art which was a huge let down because I’m not a huge fan of (dry) steamed milk. Your latte art was amazing!

Great little place. Keep it up!

We stopped here on our just as we arrived in town not realizing it was the tail end of service. They close at 3 and we walked in at 2:50. They were so welcoming and did not make us feel rushed or like we were inconveniencing them. My aunt ordered the classic burger which had a huge, juicy and well seasoned patty. I ordered the yaki soba with chicken which was delicious. The chicken was tender and the veggies were nice and crispy. Definitely will come back next time we visit the area.

Spacious and delicious! Very accommodating when I needed to work from a laptop for a few hours. Wonderful staff. Made me a vegetarian burger on request and thought to ask about dairy components in the sauce. Even though it didn't matter to me, it shows attention to detail. All the fruit sides were super fresh and yummy!

Alpaca coffee is awesome! They graciously hosted the start of the Stagecoach 400 mtb ride last spring, and we are thankful they’ll have us again this spring. Great coffee, service, and food at the adjacent cafe. Thank you guys for welcoming our group

Twice I've come for solid drip coffee and have been satisfied. Stumptown beans are nice, they carry a medium roast at one size fits all for your ounces. The owners are very kind and obviously caring and hard working. I was pleased to know they make their baked goods from scratch, though skeptical at the price point at first --$6 for a cinnamon roll or bun. I must say, I'll swallow my frugality for them, the Blood Orange Lemon glazed roll I bought today was DELICIOUS and GORGEOUS, pairing perfectly with my black coffee. Pay for local, pay for homemade, pay for the care you receive. Thanks y'all, I got my coffee and pastry needs met and exceeded.

What a cool place! Great coffee, warm and comforting food. A laid back yet kind of hip place that welcomes even the grungiest of mountain bikers. Alpaca is a great place to start and end the Stagecoach 400 mountain bike touring route.

My husband and I went to this coffee shop for much wanted coffee. We both got the Nutella latte and my husband also got a chamomile tea. The Nutella latte was good, just wished it would’ve been whisked with the coffee and milk. Since all the Nutella was at the bottom. So we both had the Nutella after we finished our drink. It is pricey too but most trendy coffee shops are. This just happens to make good coffee. I don’t recommend you come here if you’re in a hurry though. It did take a while since there was only one person taking orders and making the drinks.

The coffee was good (pumpkin spice latte and vanilla latte) , the staff was friendly and the cafe was a bit cramped but the outdoor seating was relaxing. Overall a great place for snacks and coffee.

Amazing coffee. Ordered the spanish latte and it was delicious, slightly sweet rich smooth coffee, would highly recommend. Husband had the mocha latte which was also delicious, lightly sweet with a good flavor of real dark chocolate. Any time we go to Idyllwild we will stop. A bit hard to see but it's right next to the cafe. Stop and give these people your business, you will be happy you did.

My husband and I stopped by for a cappuccino and something for breakfast before heading home. We came on a day that Alpaca Kitchen was closed, but luckily, they had some *amazing* sausage breakfast burritos hot and ready to grab and go. The cappuccino was perfect and the cold brew iced black tea was tasty and mellow. Can't wait to stop by again soon!! Thank you!

Cute little shop attached to a restaurant. There's plenty of seating to enjoy your coffee and/or food. The coffee was made quickly and tasted great. My girlfriend got the Nutella latte and I got the Brown Sugar latte. We were not able to try any of the food this visit but are looking forward to coming back in the future!

Alpaca Coffee Shop! ☕ From their expertly crafted coffee to the cozy ambiance, it's a haven for coffee lovers. The friendly staff and commitment to sustainability made my visit a pleasure. Alpaca fed us delicious breakfast when fellow cyclist and I gathered to start the wonderful Stage Coach 400 mountain bike route from Idyllwild to San Diego and back. Thanks much!
if you visit Idyllwild don't miss out on this charming spot! 🦙💕
