Alba's Cuban Coladas

While visiting Maui, I had a chance to stop by Alba’s truck on my way back from the farmer’s market. I love Cuban food and Cuban coffee so I had to give this a try and ordered a colada. I’ll start by saying I’ve spent time in both Miami and Havana, Cuba where I’ve had a chance to sample some outstanding Cuban coffee and Alba’s is as good or better than the best ones I’ve had Havana.

The coffee is smooth without a bitter or harsh aftertaste and has just the right amount of sugar and sweetness that you would want in cafecito or colada. I enjoyed the first one so much that I had to get 2 more for the road and later in the day! This will definitely be a stop for me every time I am in the area.

Went to Upcountry Farmers Market and stumbled upon this gem across the street!! Great Cuban Coffee , Great Island Vibes & was made with love fresh to order. Better than Porto’s coffee in my opinion! Albas is showing Hawaii what beautiful food & drink culture Cuba has to offer. Thankyou🙏🏽

I am from Miami, Florida and currently on a 10 day trip in Hawaii with my girlfriend. A couple of days ago, we both had the surprise and pleasure of being able to enjoy Cuban coffee at Alba’s. As a lifelong Miami local, I can vouch for the owner Christina’s coffee and tell you that her coffee is more than on par with the Cuban coffee in Miami - even better because of the homemade touch with this particular coffee, as well as Christina’s warm and friendly service. I never thought that I would find superb Cuban coffee out here in the Hawaiian islands and was delighted to have come across Alba’s Cuban Coladas. Delicious and a must-visit when in Maui!

Our favorite cafecito on Maui! Alba’s is true the authenticity of a strong Cuban coffee. The atmosphere and the conversation are also a highlight for us! We are faithful customers every Saturday morning! ☕ 💖🥟 also the empanadas taste lime home!

Honestly I’m not a huge coffee drinker but she makes the best tasting coffee I’ve ever had in my life. It is also very potent and gives you that extra boost you need! If she was open 7 days a week, I’d be there every single morning. The empanadas are delish too. Appreciate you!!

I have traveled to Maui twice and I had the sweetest surprise when I found out about Albas! I’m a cuban American and from Miami - so this girl needs her dosage of cuban coffee wherever she goes. The customer service is top tier - this truck even has empanadas so it can’t get any better than that! If you’re ever vacationing on the Hawaiian island of Maui and need a coffee, this is the spot! Highly recommended; it wont disappoint! I’ll also add that Albas coffee truck is the CUTEST for photo’s! You get the full experience. Think less and when in Maui visit the best Cuban coffee spot! Can’t wait to visit again, Thank you albas!

I question the choice of putting an offensive political sticker in a place of business, but what can you do? At least the coffee was really good and the barista was pleasant.

Christina, the owner, is the best and always so welcoming! I cannot get enough of their empanadas and cafecitos. This is the ONLY place to get Cuban coffee on the island and I am hooked. I will literally drive to Kula from Kihei on Saturdays just to order from her and skip the whole Farmers Market. Also she hooked me up with a rad Star Wars sticker because I’m such a fanboy. Thank you Christina for making this stuff available I’ll see you on Saturday!

This is the best coffee I have ever had. I appreciate w everything about this business, from their savory food, to the customer service, and even their patriotism. One of my favorite coffee spots on Maui! If you’re ever upcountry on a Saturday definitely check them out. The cortadito and empanadas are amazing.

It’s a cute coffee cart and I stop by every time I go to the Upcountry Farmer’s Market. The lady is so bubbly and sweet, and her pastries are delicious!!

Very good coffee. Very strong and cheap. If you’re a person that needs multiple cups in the morning, this is the place to visit.
