Great no gi open mat. Nice guys good rolls. They are very welcoming. I train in 10p orange california and they welcomed me no problem. If you love bjj and want to train, I recommend stopping by.

This academy is like a family and I get to train with many strong and talented BJJ practitioners. The training here focuses on BJJ concepts as well as street and competition training. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking to learn from a serious academy. The kids academy is also amazing. Both my kids attend this academy and they really enjoy it.

Amazing academy for all ages. We are a family of 8 who roll together and has made Maui Jiu-Jitsu our home. I finally built up the courage to step on the mat and the only regret I have is not starting when our children did. I have 2 sons (10 and 8yr old) and 3 nieces (10, 9, and 8yr old) that have been training at Maui Jiu-Jitsu academy for 5 years and counting, we now have our 5yr old niece who just made 1yr of training. Everyone there are full of aloha and always helping each other grow in this sport/lifestyle. A few of my children are big competitors and have accomplished many goals they have set for theirselves. The other few and myself just fell in love with jiu-jitsu and being surrounded by everyone who became family. So whether youʻre a competitor, maui visitor, or just wanna learn self-defense...Maui Jiu-Jitsu is the absolute place to be. Itʻs an honor to be learning under Chief Limao (Luis) and Christian. My children are blessed to have an amazing coach like Sam. I cannot thank you all enough for all that you guys do.

Awesome teacher 36 years experience. Great atmosphere wonderful people. Good people training great Jui Jitsue. If you have a chance to train here even if your visiting you should train here. I came from Missouri and was in Maui one week. When I come back to the island I will train here again.

I highly recommend this school to everyone for adults and kids from beginners to advanced practitioners. They have a great team of skilled instructors and students, with a fantastic welcoming atmosphere.

Visited this academy while on vacation and I have to say, both the instruction and the staff here are exceptional! Definitely worth a visit for any jiujitsu practitioner in the area, and also a great place for beginners to build a solid base of self defence fundamentals!
