Tyra and her family do a FANTASTIC job creating and delivering beautiful custom Hawaiian heirloom jewelry. Tyra was so responsive from the get go, she communicated well and it was easy to work with her despite being in North Carolina! The first gift my father gave me on the day I was born was my middle name: He Punahele. On the day my daughter was born, I gave her the same middle name. He Punahele means “my beloved” and the name is quite fitting. My father and I wanted to purchase a Hawaiian Heirloom Bracelet for her wedding in November of this year as her “something new.” Sadly, my father passed in October so he was never able to see it done. When I brought my Dad’s ashes back home to Maui in February to be put to rest with my family, my daughter and I met with Tyra to design her bracelet. This bracelet is more beautiful than I could have imagined and my father would have been so happy to give this to her on her wedding day. I want to thank both Tyra and her father for helping me to keep the promise my Dad made to his granddaughter. There just aren’t enough stars available to give on this rating, but you guys deserve so many more.

Hawai‘i's Heritage Jewelers is a dad-and-daughter team that perpetuates the tradition of Hawaiian heirloom jewelry. Their pieces are engraved by hand using many of the original techniques used to create these pieces, whereas most of the Hawaiian jewelry you see today are engraved using machine-assisted engravers. With over 40 years in the business, Hawai‘i's Heritage Jewelers maintains the “old school” designs you see on your tutu’s bracelets and also create customer-inspired modern designs, as well. Got old gold pieces you don't use anymore? They do melt-and-remake pieces, too!

Because they are a small team, pieces do take some time to create. All I can say is that if you want a quality traditional Hawaiian jewelry piece, it is well worth the wait. I ordered a custom I.D. bracelet for myself and some other gifts for my family over the last year. I can’t wait to order another piece! I was very please when my package of items which I purchase arrived. My package purchased was just as promised when I placed my order when I was in Maui. The workmanship on the ring, pendant and bracelet was exceptional and the black enamel on the sterling silver turned out very nice. The entire transaction from beginning to end was so painless and actually really fun. I was overwhelmed with all the different design options but during the consultation, Tyra and she explained the process and made it super easy. She explained that the bracelets are hand-carved so it’s all unique and even more special. Received the orders today and surprised my wife with two bracelets and she is still taking selfies with her new bracelets. I wanted a Hawaiian bracelet for as long as I can remember. I came across Hawaii’s Heritage Jewlers and I knew this was who I wanted to get my bracelet from. After months of following them an opportunity came up so I could get my bracelet and I am so glad I chose them!! My bracelet was even more beautiful than I could imagine! The turn around time was only a few weeks and the response from them fast and helpful! I am already thinking about the next piece I want to buy. What makes it personal is seeing how the hand crafted pieces are made by the videos they post.

This was my first experience with Hawaii's Heritage Jewelers and I must say, it was above expectations. The customer service was stellar! The craftsmanship of each piece is amazing. And the turn around time was unbelievable. Being that each piece is hand made, I was expecting that my pieces would take about three to four weeks to complete. I placed & paid for my order on Sept. 21, 2020, & received it on Oct. 8, 2020. I was pleasantly surprised.

I never knew that this type of craftsmanship existed, I thought it was all done by machines. We ended up finding this locally owned company via IG and it really was perfect timing because we were looking at getting our daughter her 1st Hawaiian bracelet. We met with Tyra and she listened to what my daughter was looking for, each detail was thought out. Tyra was patient, listened and also motivated us and my daughter and I was very pleased with the design she was creating. What next? Well I assumed we’d just get it in a few weeks... but during that time they allowed us to see videos/photos of her piece being made by hand. I wanted a Hawaiian bracelet for a long time, met Tyra at a show and was so fortunate to meet someone with so much knowledge and passion for their jewelry. I just received my daughter's bracelet in the mail today. It's beautiful!!! The craftsmanship is exceptionally!

My daughter turns 21 next month and the plan was to go to Vegas to celebrate but with COVID still very active around the world those plans were dumped. I couldn't let her 21st birthday just come and go without a big to do (which is also out of the question because of COVID) so I decided to get her the Hawaiian bracelet that she has been asking for since she saw my Hawaiian bracelet when she was young. Even if my bracelet is very hard to get on (it doesn't fit me anymore), she will make it go on her wrist. So, I called Tyra. She is so easy to talk to and so knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and together we came up with the bracelet size, the weight and so on. The design I chose reflects her Kaneohe roots: puakenikeni - flower of Kaneohe & it grows around our neighborhood & is her favorite flower; kukui nut - the tree that grows in our backyard & she has seen it grow from a small tree to a large tree now; and the maile lei - it signifies our love for her. I hope when she's far from home, she will look at her bracelet and it will bring her closer to home.

Amazing quality and gorgeous jewelry! I’ve ordered other Hawaiian bangles but they haven’t held up nor looked as beautiful as Hawaii’s Heritage Jewelers. I haven’t taken my bracelets off since I got them and they look just as good as they did the day I got them. LOVE and highly recommended!

Working with Tyra at HHJ has been simply amazing! I ordered a silver ring with my family name and a pendant for my first name. It was about a month before Christmas, and the package was never delivered. Tyra worked endlessly with me to try and locate the package through USPS and when it became clear the package wasn't coming back, got right to work sending me a new set, free of charge. Jewelry was beautiful, I wear the ring every day. THEN, the original set showed up in her mailbox - it had been returned to sender! She then sent me the second ring as well (for free) because I'd "have more use for it." So now my mom and I have matching rings and I really felt taken care of.
