Locals Food Hub & Pizza Pub

I’m so glad we decided to eat here!! We love finding different pizza spots to eat at on vacation, and this has been on of our favorites! We loved that everything was sourced from Kentucky. The pizza was very good!!! They also had a good beer selection!

For my last night in Frankfort, I decided to try Locals Pizza. It's called Locals, because all the ingredients are locally sourced.

I'm not a big pizza lover, but I'm glad I tried this. I had the supreme pizza, which was fresh and delicious.

There is no table service here, so you order and pick up at a counter and also bus your own table. I certainly don't mind doing that, but wanted to explain why I didn't rate service a 5.

As an added bonus, Locals has live music on the weekend. A duet called the Breedloves sang and played guitar.

Absolutely delicious. Could eat the crust of the pizza all by itself. Fresh. Cute store. Delicious taps. Top it all off with super friendly and welcoming people. Cannot say enough good things. A MUST while visiting Kentucky. Stop by for lunch after Buffalo Trace!

Very cool spot, awesome staff. Really nice set up and good music. They support and source locally. We liked everything here but our pizza’s fell a bit short. They had too much cheese and not enough marinara. Dough was pressed to flat which leaves nothing to counter the grease that comes from the fat when cheese is cooked. These two combined made for floppy, greasy pizza. Whilst they tasted good…it took a lot of grease soaked napkins to get there lol. We were there pretty late so maybe just bad timing. Will be back to try again! Also the guy on the guitar was awesome!

Found this gem of a place when we were leaving Frankfort and it was perfect!! The food was so fresh and we loved that they use local produce/meat. Staff was friendly. If we visit Frankfort area again, we would absolutely be back! We split the Kentucky hot brown pizza and the kale salad. Both amazing!

Stopped here on a road trip up north. We had two dogs and a toddler with us. Everyone liked the food; the Tuscan salad and the carnivore pizza were awesome, even toddler approved. The nice thing about this is they have a play area towards the back that is completely fenced in with picnic tables, some shade, a slide, and a tote full of trucks. Our toddler loved this! We loved it because it gave him the opportunity to burn off some energy while we enjoyed a delicious cold beer and some pizza.

My favorite pizza in all of KY. The Mighty Mushroom. We do not live here and whenever we are in town I make sure to visit at least once to pick up local groceries and my favorite pizza! The little store/food hub has such amazing options too! I typically buy the frozen bones with marrow and put them in the cooler to take back home with us, because they are a great price and quality.

Definitely the best pizza in Frankfort! Also the only place with vegan cheese in the area. Very clean, polite staff, and great beer selection.

Amazing locally owned spot that supports local initiatives? Yes please! Food is great, the space is comfortable and inviting, and staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Chicken bacon ranch pizza and Caesar salad were our choices, and were super satisfying. Beer menu is local and tasty. In short, come here and check it out for yourself! Going to Buffalo Trace? Come here before or after. You won’t be sad.

Wow. Is the word I have to describe the friendliness of the staff and the taste and quality of the pizza. Everyone was so welcoming and gave good information about the exclusively local Kentucky products that they sell. We had the Hot Brown and Chicken, Bacon, Ranch pizzas. DELICIOUS!!! The crust was tender, chewy, and light. I had several pieces and didn't feel overly full. If you are visiting the area or Buffalo Trace, please be sure to stop in and spend some time at this great local establishment. Even the water is delicious. I taste test the water in nearly every city I visit and this was done of the best. The best words that I can use to describe it are smooth and refreshing.

I enjoyed the food a lot. First time visiting and ordered a Bee Sting, hot wings, and some cheese bread. With a cold beer. Enjoyed it all.

Excellent pizza and Vegan options...legit Vegan! Service was outstanding, friendly, helpful staff. Nice selection of local grocery items, enjoyed the local wine, even bought a t-shirt! Perfect lunch/dinner spot after enjoying Buffalo Trace distillery down the road. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Will definitely be back when in the area again.

Such an awesome spot that we stumbled upon. The staff was kind, helpful, and informative. The food was delicious and I love that it’s all made from local ingredients. I also really enjoyed the overall atmosphere of this place. I would highly recommend!

We loved the KY Hot Brown pizza!! Great evening out- pizza, beer & cider and live music in a great atmosphere. We will be back for sure.

My husband and I are on our anniversary trip from Pennsylvania and love finding food places like this. The staff are all super sweet, Kristy helped us specifically and told us everything about the restaurant and market. The food was absolutely fantastic. We also got soaps for myself and dog treats for our pup at home. Thank you for such a thoughtful, yummy place that connects to local produce and farms!

We stopped here while visiting the city and this is an amazing place! Wonderful organic, locally sourced food and one of the best meals we have had in a while! Will definitely come back if we visit Frankfort again! Wonderful atmosphere too!

Absolutely loved this place. Worth the trip or detour if you're in the area. Great food, local general supplies and gifts. The wood fired pizza was great and service to match from everyone we came in contact with.

Phenomenal pizza. Employees were patient and welcoming with answers and suggestions to what we wanted from pizza to beer. We got 2 salads and 4 pizzas. The only problem that I had was I couldn't try them all!

I love what the do for the community and the grocery store is full of wonderful meats and veggies.

Great food!!! The place us really focused on promoting local foods. They have a small local grocery section that has local honey, jams, fudge and much more. The pizza was GREAT. We had the carnivore pizza and beer cheese and pretzels. Service was great and the time to get the food was good too. For those that don't drink local beer they can recommend something that is close.

Stopped here while visiting parts of the bourbon trail and it did not disappoint, and no it's not the bourbon talking. This place is legit. We wanted something close and easy before setting out on the next journey and we got a real treat. The pizza is the best I have had in a long time. It is easily in my top 3. I do come from a town with a pizza restaurant owned and operated by a 5 time world pizza champion and this place is right there with them! We ordered the carnivore pizza and cheese bread along with a couple craft beers, which was a very decent selection to choose from. After receiving our beers we walked over to the grocery section and admired another great selection of locally sourced items. You can purchase all kinds of items from the grocery side of this restaurant and take home with you for your own recreation of their pizza! They will sell you all the items! Don't sleep on this place, you will not regret it.
