This is my absolute favorite butcher shop! I have no complaints. Excellent quality fresh meats and very helpful, friendly service. Don't go at the weekends unless you don't mind a bit of a wait. Whenever I cook a gourmet dinner, I always come here for my ingredients. Whether it be Beef Ribs, Lamb Shoulder or Brisket. This place is it! If you don't like the way certain meats are cut, they will go out of their way and re cut it for you to your liking.
Peter is the best he works hard for you to get a good cut for you.

Germantown Halal has been my go to for years now. They have great quality steaks that other locations can’t match. Peter is the guy to see. He has the answers to any questions you have on what to buy, how to season and cook it, Peter is able to walk you through it all from start to finish.

The staff are very friendly and will help you with your needs and have a great time shopping.

This place is really incredible. The quality is excellent. Everything is humanely raised, grass fed/ pasture raised. Couldn’t ask for a better butcher and nicer people.

The best butcher in the area. Great prices amazing quality, and friendly service. The prime steaks are perfect and tender. I also get chicken weekly its much better than store bought.

This store sets a new standard for Halal Meat, the butchers are well trained to educate me on the meat and cuts they sell and the store is clean and organized. The wait is always worth it, they do calls ahead as well, but it’s always a great experience. Also they have HALAL wagyu, burgers, pepperoni, bacon it’s amazing, there’s nothing you can’t find here!

Love this place. I drive an hour to get some good cuts of meats. I recently purchased some really nice juicy steaks. Let me tell you, it was out of this world. All I added was salt n pepper and I “pushed it good” in to my mouth hmmm...hmmm. All the folks from the owner to the cashier are lovely folks.

Great store with a wide selection of fresh meats. Bought turkey for Thanksgiving and it looked and tasted great.

Awesome business! Owners open to suggestions. They are always looking to improve this new business and carry the products customers want. For example, they changed the meat supplier shortly after opening the business to offer fresher, cleaner meat. Local organic meat and eggs available. Good selection of ethnic groceries. Very clean story, friendly staff. Skilled butchers will cut the meat however you want. Germantown is blessed to have this first quality business! Update: Store expanded its square footage--more spices and frozen foods.

We have had such incredible experiences here. Abraham and his friends are very friendly and helpful. And they are more than happy to talk to you to give you advice on what you should buy for what you want to cook. They genuinely care about what they sell, and they make sure that their customers are happy when they walk out the door. I highly recommend coming here when meat quality is your primary concern.
They have an outstanding selection of items. Cuts you cannot get at grocery stores of lamb, beef and chicken.
The quality meets here give you a great start point for any meal. If the cut is not in the front case, no problem they just bring out a slab from the back and cut what you want the way that you want it.
For Thanksgiving we made a Lamb shoulder Roast. They did not have one in the case, so Abraham went into the back and brought out half a lamb. Then he cut it in half where we wanted. It came out fork tender and the meat completely released from the bones. Our new Thanksgiving staple wouldn’t be the same without the fresh quality lamb we got here!

Brother Deen really gets it. He has set the standard for which all Halal, especially Indo/Pak grocery stores should be like. They actually know how to “butcher” different cuts of meat. Staff is super friendly and they have the best quality meat. You might pay a little more than the other places, but that’s because the other place’s quality is horrible. Germantown Halal is the most value for the money. 10/10

Peter is an awesome butcher at Germantown Halaal Meat & Grocery. Quality and variety of product is great! It’s a 45 minute drive for us but completely worth it!

Me and my husband always get meat from here. We always get the lamb shoulders and the meat is really fresh everytime. We never go anywhere else because the meat here is tender and never frozen!! If you know, you know how frozen meat has that smell. Will recommend this place to everyone that we know.

I drive from PA so I can shop here! All of the employees are extremely friendly and helpful, and are more than willing to help. They have great quality meat that is organic and grass-fed which is very rare to find in halal meat markets in my area. Their store is always very clean and well presented. I recommend this butcher to anyone I know.
