Giant Food

I was at the Germantown Giant supermarket and stopped at the bakery to buy something, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. A young lady came over to me and asked if I needed help. My name is Vic, and I'm the bakery manager how can I assist you today? She was very accommodating and friendly and pointed me in the right direction.

Great store. Rather large produce and dairy section. Huge bakery and cooking area. Seems like they can handle most things. The seafood section is rather small and can be cleaner.

Decent selection and the only grocery chain that carries the KRAFT Fat Free Zesty Italian dressing I use for my chicken marinade.

I was in a rush to make hundreds of deliveries as always. I cover Germantown often: and was making a delivery at Giant. For some reason, I kept losing signal when I got there. However, I made the attempt to still complete the delivery. My G.P.S signal totally disappeared. Emilee tried everything she could to help. I explained to her I had a package I was trying to deliver. However, I could not make it to the next screen. She was so patient about the whole entire thing. She has a fun and entertaining personality as well !  She was so cool about the fact that the signal was gone. So I tried walking through different areas of the store to see if the signal would recover. I even made an attempt to walk outside. But the problem though: is that I would not be able to confirm that I delivered the order. I could skip on the itinerary and just go to the next stop: or I could also call support to try to help. I felt kind of bad that it was taking forever to try to deliver the package. I know others would have reacted differently: but Emilee was so nice about the whole entire thing. She was cool about it: her personality says a lot.  She really seemed so fun to be around! And so I wanted to say thank you to her: for trying to help in everyway she could. I liked her personality so much! She made the whole experience so fun! I was comfortable: I did not feel rushed or anything. She took the pressure and anxiety away. I feel rushed at other locations I have gone to. Thank you for your patience: I will always remember the way I was treated there. I finally got the signal before I left! Thank you to Giant for the wonderful customer service that you gave.

This Giant has a pretty good selection of plant based/vegetarian/healthy natural foods. There a few in this area, (which have all been great), that have more plant based/natural products than others it seems. Will you find everything veggie here? No. this is not MOMS or Whole foods lol however if it's the closest store to you, go at it! I have no real complaints on their produce selection , grocery prices are affordable, store upkeep, selection of product's, product availability is fine and staff have been overall friendly and helpful.-- my children would always ask to ride in the car or seat belt carts (when they were little) and loved it! Ladies they sell Honey Pot products! Super helpful to run in and get when I can't get them online. As well as other toiletries etc when a clothing store, beauty supply store or cvs isn't an option lol.

The young lady at the flower shop I think her name was Skylar, was very helpful and made me a beautiful bouquet! Will be back!

MINO was amazing , my mother and I stopped him in the deli department to ask about the ham prices and if there was anymore ham glaze . Mino stopped what he was doing to come and help me and my mom look for the glaze , we checked 2 isles and after that Mino was able to find us the very last one in the back of the top shelf !! He extremely kind and determined to help us find it along with another wonderful woman . His customer service and positive attitude made my day and holiday he was amazinggggg I hope to run into him again ! Rachel the cashier was great as well she was patient even though she had a long line ahead of her with full carts , she kept a positive and welcoming attitude to all of her guests :)

This supermarket has tons of selections than others in my area. They are very friendly, organized and the bakery is always fresh.

Update: even though the Maryland easypass website listed them, they don't have the easypass

Shopping at giant is great, they always have everything I need, the only thing is they need more cashiers, besides that is good 👍

Newly upgraded store.. Especially like the checkout Corral. Much faster than the cashiers when you have a small number of items. Forgot your ID card just key in your phone number.

Very clean and inviting, they do need customer service help.

Store is very, clean and organized. The isles are wide enough to move around. Staff is very in polite. Sales are always good

I always find what I need at the price I can afford.

Love this Giant! They have a variety of international items that some locations don’t have. Fully stocked and staff is usually friendly.
