The Nahiku Gallery in on the road to Hana. It’s a fun shop to stop and browse in. It has locally made products, which is what I like to buy when I travel. The staff is friendly and helpful. There was quite a variety of products ranging in prices, so you should be able to find something for every budget.

Great, unique art/souvenir place with reasonable prices. Fantastic store! And the woman who worked there could not be nicer and packaged up all our purchases for our suitcase traveling.

Had two great experiences at this store and for Maui the prices were totally reasonable. The art is one of a kind.

Great shop with lots of unique merchandise, mostly made by local artists. I wish they had a website so I can shop online!

We stopped here on our Road to Hana drive. The shop has handmade items that range from magnets to jewelry to pottery. We bought a magnet and a jewelry dish which were quite pricey but we wanted to support local small businesses. The magnet was $10 and the ring dish was $25. I've attached pictures to show their actual sizes.

As the salesgirl was ringing up our 2 items, I saw a beautiful moissanite ring and tried it on. I asked the salesgirl how much the ring was and she said the price should be on the tag but it was not, so she called the owner. She then told me that the owner said the ring was $488. My husband was happy to buy the ring for me as an anniversary gift and I was so excited to wear it.

Then the owner came running down to the shop, grabbed the ring and said it was actually worth $800. I asked them what the final price is for the ring and they were going back and forth so I went next door to grab some coffee and banana bread. I came back to the store 5 minutes later and asked what the price is for the ring. The salesgirl said it's $1,000. While I loved the beautiful ring, I was not happy with the bait and switch sales tactic. It's truly unfortunate to see this happening at a local business in Hawaii. My advice - look but don't buy anything.

The Lady at the checkout is unbelievably rude. The coffee we bought at store had dead ants floating in it. When we brought the coffee back, instead of apologizing and changing the coffee, she said yeah this is jungle there will be ants in it, take another cup. We did that but there were ants in it too. I showed her the ants floating in the coffee, she squished it and said What! What is there, acted like there is no problem. Unbelievable. She brought new coffee for the people behind us and told me not to "waste" her coffee anymore and take a refund instead. REALLY!! "wasting" this coffee which has dead ants floating in it for god knows how long. This store should be reported to Food inspection agency as the food they are selling could be a public hazard. The overpriced souvenir we bought at the store was such low quality that by the time we got home, the magnet on it just fell off somewhere and the souvenir was of no use. Don't go to this store if you expect any kind of quality, service or courtesy.

I bought this lovely bracelet with Opal and Koa wood, and routinely received compliments on how nice it looked. Too bad, one day I dropped it on my tile floor and the Tungsten metal cracked on 2 of the links (I could see if the opal or Koa cracked, but the metal, really?).

I reached out to see if I could get one or two links to repair my bracelet (it is just a matter of popping out 2 pins to replace the links). I was informed that I could only buy another bracelet (albeit at wholesale, but still....). Given that it was the tungsten metal that broke (which should metal jewelry break?), I was left feeling unhappy.
