Ordered 2 Cheap Trick records on the same day from 2 different vendors. Vinyl Record Dude arrives a day early. Vinyl - Jacket - Original Photo insert - all in top tier condition. Still waiting for album from the other vendor. VRD Gets high five and a 5Star review. Also, I live in TX with a community mailbox. VRD stamps the package with a “Fragile Vinyl Records- Do not expose to heat” so instead of USPS guy stuffing it in the microwave box at the bottom of my mailbox - he put it in the shade at my front door. Great to find this record store while in a work trip this week. Good selection of used records and well organized. The best part was that he brought out a box of 12 inch singles from the back when I asked if he had any. Great selection and priced. And then packed them for me since I was flying home with them

I just started a vinyl collection. I went to a reputable place to sell vinyls some of my songs skip a little bit. But I'm okay. But then I went on Amazon order. A few records same thing. So my expectation ordering from vinyl record dude was n't 100%. Was I fooled The vinyl played with not one skip not one scratch impeccable condition on both A and b side. The packaging was well done you would have thought I was receiving top secret information from the Pentagon. I am very, very satisfied and pleased. Thank you for the incredible experience. I am so glad I found this record store. I went in looking for a box to safely ship my son's valuable LP collection across country. I came out with a renewed sense of community. This is a tiny record store with a huge warehouse and online presence, to go with their huge hearts.

When inquiring about the best way to pack LP's, employee Elvis took me in the warehouse and showed me exactly how they carefully wrap and pack stacks of records for shipment all over the world. He then offered to wrap and pack my son's collection for a nominal fee so that I could ship them myself without buying all the supplies. They didn't have to do that for me, it was purely a community service and has renewed my faith in the value added by patronizing a small business over a chain store (which would NEVER have even offered).

Smartly decorated and well organized, this little store is tucked away just south of Redfield Road in the Scottsdale Airpark. A hidden gem indeed. They have been buying and selling vinyl online for over 20 years. Only in the last 2 years have they opened a physical store, and I'm thrilled they are doing well. I will be back!

Was my 1st time in this store today (I don't live in the area I'm more central Phoenix) my friend had to go to an appointment for about an hour in the area so I immediately googled closest record shop haha turns out it was this place.

Such a great experience...when I walked in I was immediately greeted, but not obnoxiously, by a couple workers (unfortunately I didn't catch their names I only got Elvis's) they were very nice! My friend was in for about 5 minutes but found a game to buy and I kind of indicated to the staff I would probably be lingering around for an hour or so and of course like anyone into records they were fine with it. I saw probably 15 people come and go while I was there and every single person was greeted and offered assistance. It's weird previous negative reviews talked about their customer service cause this place was great to me and all the other customers.

They have a very nice selection in the store AND check out their online site cause they have a ton more online that you can get while you visit.

Asked a worker/owner (not sure) to explain a price on a record that I already own because the pricing was much higher than what I paid. It wasn't accusatory it was a learning moment. He explained to me (a relative noob) the difference in the audio quality of the record and even used examples to help me understand. Again this was a moment a worker/owner could immediately take offense if they had poor customer service skills but he immediately understood my question and explained it in a way that helped me learn more about my hobby!

Finally my last 20 minutes or so in the store was mainly dealing with Elvis. This guy is great! I told him his voice reminds me of a SiriusXM DJ and he has a voice for radio...turns out he was a dj/MC previously and he put on an impromptu display. Which was AWESOME! He ended up helping me locate 3 records that were in the back from their online site. 1 of the records (Howlin' Wolf with a literal who's who of the music industry) he was as excited as me to find. We spent a few minutes chatting about that and honestly it didn't even feel like I was talking to a sales person it felt like a buddy and I were talking music. Another example of great customer service!

As I was checking out the final cool thing I thought was before I could thank Elvis he thanked me and asked me for my name. I can see why other positive reviews say these guys are great. Oh and sidenote I go to Stinkweeds cause I love them and it's closer by...when I mentioned this to Elvis he immediately only had positive things to say. That's small but something I really appreciate. Most folks that work at a business like to say their business is great and all others suck but Elvis didn't and stuff like that always sticks out to me. There is money out here for all good mom and pop spots!

Super long review I know but when a place stands out they deserve the kudos!

Decided to let my album collection go and decided to give these folks a shot. It was good and fair transaction. It didn't take long to see that they really know their stuff. And, best of all, I actually got more than I expected. While my albums were being assessed I checked some of the records they had on their shelves. The selection was good and I can see why their ratings are so high.

This place is great, it is a little tucked away for sure but it is a nice little store that has a huge inventory in the back!! I got a really cool Janis Joplin album and the DUDE was very nice ... I don't know wth the other reviews are talking about... He was very nice and welcoming. I will come back...

Can't believe I didn't know this was here. Elvis and staff are phenomenal, this place is a vinyl geek's dream. They had an album I couldn't find any where else, then had a great convo with Elvis about music and their location. I'm a customer for life, can't wait for their new changes and upgrades this year.

These guys are the best. Real music fans with a wide-ranging musical palette. What an inventory they have and super helpful with equipment sales and set up. It's kind of like that room that Scrooge McDuck used to have that was just full of money and he could dive into it - but with vinyl! Yesssss...

I got this as a gift for my father because his favorite Fleetwood Mac song is on it and it came in perfect condition. I would totally buy again from you guys.

I loved this shop. The ease of buying a record online and picking it up was great. I really liked the selection that they had, I'm 10000% going to go back probably next week to get more records. Elvis was such an awesome person to talk with as well, such a kind individual, super glad I got to meet him, he was so knowledgeable about music and that was cool. The shop is small in the front, yes, but I loved the selection. What a hidden gem in Scottsdale.

Great little record store but yet so much more!! you can order from them or go visit them. Great selection and the owner is friendly! It takes me almost an hour to get to Scottsdale but it's the first place I go to when I do. I love this record store and the selection never disappoints. I highly recommend all vinyl collectors check it out.
