B & B Villa Varenna

Mauro and Paula are incredible hosts and all round amazing people! We stayed in the attic room and it was perfect for our short stay around the lake. The attic room was great even though we are both 6ft+, don't let the height warnings scare you off. We will 100% be staying here again!

We loved our stay at Villa Varenna. Our room was beautiful, clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the lake. The host were delightful and went above and beyond our entire stay.
We cannot wait to return!

What a lovely place. The hosts make you feel like home. Amazing location, rooms well equipped, nice breakfast. stunning experience!

Fabulous B&B! The host was really accommodating, the breakfast was nice and our room was perfect. The Villa is behind the train station and up a bit of a hill but it's not very far. Varenna town is about a 10 minute walk down the hill, so if you have a mobility related disability keep in mind that there is a fair bit of walking to get in and out of the town.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay and would definitely recommend.

Mauro and Paula are marvelous hosts - they made us feel right at home! The villa is beautiful, the view stunning and close to all of Lake Como's many charms. It's a short walk to the train station, ferry terminal and car park or you can hike up the hillside on the path just outside the gate. Thank you for a delightful stay!

A really beautiful family run hotel with lovely views over Lake Como. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Varenna!

Very friendly owner, cute breakfast with local yogurt 😋 and really good location. We chose a small room with a big terrace and although it was quite expensive, we were very happy with our choice. The train didn't run during our stay, so I can't say anything about the noise.

The owner and his wife are such nice, welcoming people. Helpful with local attractions and even with translating an email for me. The room was private, very clean, and comfortable. Breakfast in the garden every morning was a beautiful way to start the day. If you are thinking of going to this area, this is a great place to stay. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve stayed In many B&B’s and these were the nicest people I have met. Can’t say enough good about the villa.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Varenna. The room was clean, larger than expected and the bed was very comfortable. There is some street and train noise but as city dwellers, this did not bother us or impact our sleep. The breakfast each morning was great and served outside with gorgeous Mountain Views. It is closer to the ferry and train stations than the town proper which was convenient for us in traveling to the various villages along the lake. We walked 10 minutes into town each evening for dinner and enjoyed gelato on the way back. It was perfect for us!

We had a great experience at Villa Varenna. Very clean rooms, breakfast was great, and the owners were very hospitable. They know the town, so they have wonderful recommendations. There is a great restaurant just up the street from the B&B with amazing food. I highly recommend and would refer my friends and family here

Meravigliosa location che ho conosciuto in occasione di convegni che annualmente si svolgono a Varenna. La posizione sul lago offre una vista di straordinaria bellezza. Le camere sono pulite e bene arredate e i gestori attenti e cortesi.

Potser és la primera vegada que al·lucino tant amb un B&B, i és que aquest negoci s'assembla més a un Hotel Boutique que no pas a un B&B. La localització és excepcional, just al davant de l'estació de tren, a cinc minuts dels ferrys i a deu minuts del centre. En Mauro, el propietari, el paio amb més humor i ganes de xerrar que he vist mai en un lloc així, té conversa per gairebé tot. L'esmorzar espectacular, on la qualitat és extremadament alta, i ben servit. L'habitació era gran, molt ben decorada i amb molt bon gust, i amb vistes sobre el llac, i la posta de Sol just al davant, simplement meravellós.

Maybe this is the first time I've ever been so amazed by a B&B, that this business is more like a Boutique Hotel than a B&B. The location is exceptional, right in front of the train station, five minutes from the ferries and ten minutes from the center. Mauro, the owner, the guy with the most humor and chatter I've ever seen in a place like this, has a conversation about just about everything. Spectacular breakfast, where the quality is extremely high, and well served. The room was large, nicely decorated and very tasteful, with a view of the lake, and the sunset just in front, just wonderful.

Bella struttura camere accoglienti molto pulite e ben curate.. Proprietari simpatici e molto gentili... Colazione abbondante nella cucina che ti sembra di essere a casa.... Consigliato!!!!!
