Holy Smoke BBQ

We had a family of 10 surprise birthday party, and Jackie was fabulous in helping with the surprise! The food is always outstanding. We ordered brisket, chicken, pulled pork, sausage, nachos, beans, and slaw. Oh, and Bart's spicy BBQ sauce is lip lickin' good! It's more of a to go place than a dine in, but there was plenty of room for our large group, a table full of teens, and A LOT of people waiting for their food. Excellent!

Great pork and chicken. I recommend the stuffed potato it’s a huge portion for $10. Banana pudding is amazing made with real bananas. 10/10 customer service. Super fast.

Clean and friendly. The BBQ smell, as you walk in, is amazing. Pork stuffed potato was delicious (and huge). Lots of meat. And the spicy BBQ sauce is now my absolute favorite.

they still have the best smoked wings you will ever eat! Brunswick stew has great taste, but if you want any meat in it you'll have to buy your own to put in it

Quaint and friendly little BBQ joint. Good food, no fuss! Several kinds of meat to choose from and a variety of sauces on every table.

Loved the stew and smoked wings. Must try if in the area.

Loved trying the BBQ Mac Sandwich Plate with Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Unsweet Tea, & Lemon Icebox Pie for my taste of my experience & it's all good & I happen to know Bart since Hartselle City School years that has been more than 20 years & we both graduated from Hartselle High School in 2006 & it's nearly 20 years for the next 3 years & may have a 20th year reunion in 2026.

Their white sauce beats Gibson's, hands down. And their wings... absolutely the best! Prices are up, but that's to be expected. Still the best place for wings and BBQ.

The best bbq you can get in Hartselle hands down! Everything is fabulous from the pulled pork to their onion rings(my favorite anywhere) Their smoked wings are always on point and if you have not tried their brisket you are missing out. If you are in the mood for something different ask for the Bart Fries, you won’t be disappointed.

Sometimes there is a wait, but it's always worth it! I go here for lunch often, and I'm so glad they're closer, now. Staff is always friendly and helpful, and the food is always delicious. They have great prices for the amount and quality of food you receive. I visit weekly and don't plan to change that!

We stopped at this place along our road trip to Florida based on their high ratings. They certainly did not disappoint...the food was amazing. Best wings we have ever had and the brisket and chicken sandwich were amazing too! Great customer service and everyone that worked there was so polite. We can wait to stop back on our way home!

Great great food! Very friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Quiet... don't have to yell to be heard... BBQ was fantastic! Brisket was tender, juicy, and slow-smoked flavor. I plan to try their BBQ chicken next time... or maybe turkey... and banana pudding.

I would suggest going in, because a few times I went to the window & it seems that's the only times my order wasn't correct.

Aptly named, this BBQ will leave you wondering where it has been all of your life. Holy Smokes is it delicious! I had a little Brisket, Pulled pork and smoked wings. All delectable, perfect cooked and reasonably priced. I will be frequenting this establishment as a part of my Saturday excursions. Sadly, this Holy establishment is not open on Sundays... The young man who took my order was accommodating and courteous. Fast, friendly, and local.
