Jaws Country Store

Stumbled upon this place coming back from Hana, and it's now my fav roadside stop in Maui. Lots of character. Both a unique store/gift shop, and a small cafe with delicious food & drink. Outdoor seating only. Not super-fast, Island time for sure, but that's the relaxed vibe this place puts out. The owner/manager made up for it by ambling up, apologizing for the delay, and handing me a glass of chilled fresh pineapple juice while I waited. Super cool.

Lovely Café, Pizza place ....and more...with a nice outdoor seating area ( some in the shade, if it's too warm). Very friendly staff. Perfect stop on the way to Hana or Twin falls. Great addition to the area!

Stopped by early in the morning on the way to Hana and sat at a picnic table. I had the avocado and egg toast and coffee and it was INCREDIBLE. My dad had the croissant sandwich and he loved his as well. The food is as amazing as the view. The shop is really cute, too with some great options for locally made souvenirs. I very much recommend making this your stop for breakfast on your drive!

Jaws country store has tourist items to purchase and snacks. I would not recommend the pastries, as I thought they were a little dry, but my kids enjoyed them. If you need to pick up some snacks on the road back from hana I would recommend stopping here. The customer service was excellent as they closed at 6pm, but they allowed us to finish shopping and we didn't feel rushed out. Just outside the country store is a wood fire pizza and breakfast shop, the pizza was amazing! Wondeful owner from Argentina. The pizza chef is from Austria and has 40 years of pizza experience. I would highly recommend grabbing a 12" pizza, it feeds two people. There is an amazing grassy area for the kids to run around in after a long drive or before you start your drive.

Very friendly bunch with reasonably prices for tourism season in Maui.

We had stopped here after a very long stretch on the Road to Hana. Hi'ialo pointed to way to fresh and hot coffee, the best bagel West of Brooklyn, and more good foods. She was friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
We bought 4 kinds of vegetarian jerkie, souvenirs, and baked goods for the road.
Lots of local artist made items as well as foods.
Loved the authentic broken surfboards on the fence!!! These are actually broken on Jaws itself and a testimony to the power of Mother Nature!
Loved the natural wood bench and seats. These were cut from single passes of trees. Beautiful wood and csre taking

Great little pit stop to grab a few things. They serve both lunch and breakfast and what we tried for lunch was great. They had delicious sandwiches and a lilikoi lemonade that was amazing. They also have a little convenient store to pick up basic items you may have forgotten. If you’re in the area, stop in and check it out :-)

Great stop for breakfast to kick off your road to Hana journey. Clean bathroom and strong coffee! The food side is around the corner of the store - get the avocado toast!!

We ordered the veggie sandwich and empanadas and we’re pleasantly impressed. Jaws has upped their game for sure. Everything was quite tasty. We are looking forward to their up coming menu items! Thank you!

Great pizza and burgers. Friendly staff take pride in their food. Store has some unique gifts and souvenirs. Worth the stop on the way to Hana.

Great Italian style pizza. Salad was fresh and also excellent. A great stop after the road to hana. Lots of locals which tella you it is good too.

Cutest little store in the beginning of the road to Hana. Great pizza! Lovely for photos too! I got some beautiful little burn drift wood and the best sunscreen you can ever dream off!! Sharing a photo. I'm telling you I can't.recommend that enough. All natural stuff that won't harm the ocean while snorkeling or else! Great stop on your tour around day.

Delicious açaí (except it was actually pitaya, aka dragonfruit) bowls!! Honestly one of the best I’ve had and I’ve had them all over the world from LA to Sydney. Love that they had some gluten free bakery items and that the staff are super friendly! An excellent strong latte as well. Bonus points for having two adorable shop kitties! 10/10 recommend and would come back :)

A pretty good spot to rest or eat on the road to Hana! It's especially great for families because 1) it sells lunchables and juice for an excellent price, and 2) there are decent bathrooms. The empanadas at the cafe are also pretty good, although a little pricey for what you get (average for Maui). The store also has decent bakery items, like scones (American style) and muffins.

Great little store, the young lady that's the proprietor, she was very helpful, cool little trinkets and shirts, snacks, pizza, friendly as all get out. Did the road to Hona, and this stop was the best part. Will be ordering online in the future.

Had lunch here when 15 minutes away in Paia we would have had to fight for parking and wait an hour in line for anything. They could use more items on the menu but I’m not sure why more people aren’t coming here instead of the crowds nearby. Beautiful location and very peaceful.

Great stop on the Road to Hana. There are two cats my kids loved petting while waiting for food. The food took a super long time but it was delicious.

This is a great place to stop for a restroom before hitting the Road to Hana. Bit it's also a great spot for a delicious breakfast! The acai bowl and bagel with pesto cream cheese were awesome. The space is very inviting and theres a country store there too.
