Assisted with what I needed for disability being added to property taxes

first time i brought in the form which Belton CAD sent me, they said “the form is fine but you need marriage license & signature.” i told her, it’s signed. she said, “yes, it is.” so then i got the marriage license; 2 weeks later, on next trip they suddenly said, that’s the wrong form & she has to come back in & present her ID. then the next visit, “you have to have a different form for each year.”

my son-in-law came into town from a business trip overseas; he had to sign the second form but they said he didn’t have to come in, just present a copy of ID. then they said he DOES have to come in, but he can fill it out on line. well, if he can fill it out online & sign, then why does he have to come in?

and on & on, it goes…..then they said today, we can’t tell you what’s wrong with it at the beginning. we have to look at it each time. so then i said, “where are the printed rules?”
she said, we don’t do it like that; we have to look at it each time.

it’s starting to look like either they don’t know what they’re doing or this is their strategy to prevent payment of prior years’ claims. will be contacting the Tax Assessor-Collector & quit messing around with these clerks. This is the proverbial “run around.”

these people don’t understand, they woryfor the taxpayers. we don’t work for THEM.

My husband has been here multiple times to try and register a utility trailer. Every single time he sees a new person and every single time they each tell him he needs something else. He goes and does/gets what is needed to only come back to me told something more is needed.. how frustrating.. shouldn't all the workers be trained the same and all know what is required... apparently this isn't the case

They don't answer their phone.

Nobody likes this place.
