Central Texas Bark Park

It was absolutely perfect for our pups 2d time at a dog park. It was clean, play equipment in great condition and there wasnt a lot of doggy poo around. Well maintained. A big thank you to the few people there. Everyone and fur kids were very friendly. Will absolutely be back.

Central Texas bark park and the lions dog park listed on google maps are the same place. Still a beautiful park. Separated sides for small and large dogs and the park has a great .25, .75 and a 1.25 mile trail clearly marked on the park map. There’s a huge playground from what I could see and PLENTY of open fields and parking. The restrooms that I saw along the trail did not look very pleasing but then again I didn’t go inside and there may be more over by the baseball field side. Overall beautiful and fun park for anyone!

this is an awesome park with an agility setup. My dog loved it and so did we. We watched the eclipse while our pup played with new friends.

A great park. Just started taking my dog here after her playmate passed away. There are always friendly dogs for her to play with and friendly people. The park is clean and has equipment for the dogs to train on.

Road to get to it... Now that's another story.

This place is beautiful!! Trees, open spaces. Agilatey courses. Just an all around good place to spend time, have a picnic, go for a walk or play Frisbee golf.

One of the best parks in Temple. Great space to bring your dogs too with this dog park. Good size for a dog park and it’s right near the children’s playgrounds so it is convenient if you also have kiddos with you.

We're new to the park. Dog parks can be a scary place, especially for new pet parents, but so far we have had nothing but wonderful experiences. It is not too crowded, and it seems that most dog owners we've come across are very aware of their pets' tendencies, and also welcoming to new visitors. Not to mention, lions park itself is a great place for a long walk with your pup.

Large doggy park, fully fenced and divided for large and small pumps (dogs) located in the beautiful Lyons Park.
Fenced play area for small children directly across road and another open play area for older children about 150' up the road.
Lots of grassy and sidewalk trails, ponds, firepit and covered areas. Highly recommended.

Spacious with some mature trees for shade. Well kept. Not terribly busy and there are a few owners who don't follow the rules so just be observant. But my dog enjoyed it!

Big area for the dogs to run. Lots of exercies equiment that can be used with training too. There are usually a couple of dogs there for a pupper to play with. The dog owners are all very friendly. We love bringing our little corgi here. He always gets so excited and wants to play with the bug dogs lol.

Love taking my girls here. Never had any issues although I don’t take them to the dog park area. I like to sit on the hill and let them run around they stay near me. I have a pitbull and she is the sweetest girl but I do get stares from the people walking on the path down the hill or the occasional person that picks up their ankle biters fearful my dog may hurt them lol even though I also have a little dog and she is the alpha in the pack. My pitty is the omega and submits to all dogs she meets by rolling on her back. Pit bulls are judged constantly but I will forever stick by her side and promote positive behavior.

Take our dogs here all the time. There's usually lots of other dogs on the weekends. Careful after it rains. My dog was the distinct color of mud.

I love that they have separate areas for large and small dogs. Very nice park to take your doggies to get out some energy.

Well kept, there's almost always new toys out for the dogs to play with! Good way for you and your doggo to meet new friends.

My wife and I went with our dog Zeus. He was shy but had a ton of fun running around with some canine friends! Lots of benches for the humans too! 😁

Really nice park. Wasn't very crowded but that was on a Monday at 10:15am. Great walking paths and dog park.

Really great dog park well-designed all of the dogs were friendly of the people were friendly my dog had a great time and would definitely enjoy going back there again.

Nice clean fenced off park within the park. Two separate enclosures for dogs either above or below 30lbs
