RVOS Farm Mutual Insurance

A few years ago we had a house fire (luckily no lives lost) and I’m so happy we had RVOS. When I think about how stressed and scared we all were at the time It brings me to tears .
Everyone was so kind and compassionate they really took care of us on every level. I never experienced one bit of the horror stories I’ve heard about other companies from my friends and family. These are real people who care and I would highly recommend RVOS to anyone to take care of your family when it really counts . Stay Blessed.

I have had my home insured by RVOS for over 25 years. They consistently beat everyone else's rates in the long run, meaning other companies give a lower starting rate but quickly raise their rates in subsequent years. I left them briefly 5 years ago because Progressive promised me a lower rate if I bundled with my auto. Two years later I had to go back to RVOS because of rate increases. They have recently agreed to insure my Dad's home when no other company would, since it is unoccupied, and the rate RVOS gave us is very reasonable. I have filed two claims with RVOS, and they both were completely hassle free experiences. They treat me like family when I go into their offices. I understand many of their agents are working farmers and can not always be reached immediately, but consistently low prices, and not having to fight them over claims is worth the sometimes minor inconvenience.

I had a claim last year caused by a falling tree due to high wind storm and it caused some damages to my garage and carport, within 72 hours I had the adjuster here by. He called me a day before to set up an appointment, and right when he said he'll be here, he showed up. He was very professional and meticulous in assessing all the damages caused by the storm and with no questions asked, the insurance company (RVOS) sent me the check a week later.

I hear some complaints people have on their reviews,( insurance not paying for damages)

Unfortunately when home owners call a roofing contractor for a storm damage inspection, lot of the times contractors lie to home owners stating that the property has tremendous amount of damage when that damage it's really a normal waer & tear caused by aging and insurance is not liable to pay for that matter( Insurance company is only liable to pay for storm related damages).

There is a lot of fly by night (scammers) on this roofing and home improvement industry that it's so sad, lying to home owners about damages on their property when they cause the damage and it's called ( vandalism or mechanical damage) and that is not fair for honest and reputable contractors.

Yes, I do have a home improvement company, and I work with any insurance company in assisting home owners with their claims, and what I have seen through the years is that RVOS being that is not the biggest company in the insurance industry, they are honest and they are a company that you can rely on.

I hope that this little information that I am posting, will help home owners to understand the insurance company (RVOS) position and their position as well.
